"(Sigh) I feel like Catherine hates me for some reason", Mia leaned on her table in the cafeteria, depressed.

"And why's that?" Brandon asked as he sat in front of them.

"She keeps glaring at me whenever I approach her. I've been trying to ask her to teach me for a while now, but everytime I ask, she always says that she's teaching someone from this class or class B. Other than that, she's busy."

"Hmm", Chimamanda contemplated, "Yeah, I get that she glares, she does that to me too when I talk to her, but other than that, she's okay. Though, that glaring thing freaked me out the first time we talked."

Brandon chuckled briefly.
"That's just her resting face, but I totally get it. Almost all students that transfer here complain about her gaze."

Mia then sat upright. "It still doesn't change the fact that I need someone to teach me this Maths problem. Exams are in the next three days."

"Like I said, that question may likely not come out", Brandon reminded.

"Exactly", Chimamanda agreed, "Stop beating yourself up over this?"

"(Sigh) Were not 100 percent sure about it", Mia protested, "I've already made up my mind that I'll learn it, so it's hard to change it."

"Whatever. Do what you want", Chimamanda replied, "If Cathy is so busy, why not ask Dale to teach you?"

"Am sure he won't agree to that."

"I would have asked him myself but I'm not too invested in this.... You'll never know until you try. Plus I don't think the Prince is that bad as to turn down a direct request.... If he actually disagrees, just knock his head until he agrees."

"What?"

"I'm kidding. Just be persistent. If that doesn't work, fashi him and go."

"Fashi him?"

"(Sigh) It means 'leave him', 'forget about him.'"

"Well, I guess you're right."

"I'm not even going to say anything again", Brandon commented.

"Gotta go", Brandon told them as he left the cafeteria, heading to the exit.

"I'm going home", Chimamanda said as they both left the cafeteria.

"You go ahead. I'm going  to study a bit in school", Mia replied.

"Honestly, girl you work too hard", Chimamanda said then went towards the exit.

Mia went towards her class. "I guess I'll revise the latter subjects again. Reading at home felt so lonely. It's only me and Princess that's home for like two hours before mum comes back. I'll just stay here for a little while."

She then approached her empty class. To her greatest surprise, she saw Dale sitting down on his seat, engrossed in a book.

She stood there for a brief second then walked in. Dale immediately noticed her walk in.

Mia expected him to do something but he just looked at her then looked back at his book.

She sat down on her seat in front of him. "I know I told him I could be annoying but this just feels awkward."

She got out her books to read. It was then that Chimamanda's words flashed in her mind.

"Hey Dale, could you help me with something?" she asked but there was no reply.

She then turned towards him, facing his direction.
"I know you can hear me."

He slowly looked up to her with a stern expression on his face. "What do you want?"
