Aurora's POV

I've forced River to watch my comfort show, which of course is TVD. I think it's safe to say that I've converted him and got him hooked on the show. They boy hasn't taken his eyes off the screen for the last 3 hours.

Just as the next episode is about to start the door swings open revealing a cocky looking Grey. I can't help but sigh because I know I'm going to have to pause the episode. Apparently, River feels the same way because he groans as I pause the tv.

River turns his head to Grey. "Do you not knock? We could've been naked for goodness sake" he tells him.

All I can do is stare at River cause boy what the fuck. I would love to know what goes through his brain because I would like to know how that was his response. A simple 'do you not knock' would have done it.

"Never will me and you be in a situation where we will be naked together River, I would rather be dead than ever be in that situation" I tell him.

I look back over to Grey who just rolls his eyes at us. Not a care in the world that he's just interrupted our series.

"Aurora, I have a surprise for you" Grey says.

I instantly give him my full attention and prop myself up on my elbow. "Go on then, surprise me" I look at him.

Grey climbs over River and positions himself in the middle of us on the bed. So far this surprise isn't going too well because I'm now on the edge of the bed. He pulls out his phone and clicks play on a video. I stare at his phone because if his surprise is a burning building, then I'm disappointed and I would like him to leave, so I can carry on binge watching my series.

"Wow, a burning building. I love watching video's of houses catching fire" I say, my voice laced with sarcasm.

"Brianna's house" Grey sniggers.

I look over at him in shock. Did I just hear that right?

"Did you just say that's Brianna's house in the video" I question.

Grey nods his head at me. "You told me that I needed to prove myself to you and I thought you'd be appreciative if I showed you commitment" he smirks.

I definitely shouldn't find that hot. I can't believe that he's really set her house on fire for me.

Once I'm over the initial shock, I look back at him and smile, the biggest smile that I've had on my face for days. I climb onto his lap and hug him.

"This has to be my favourite surprise ever" I tell him.

"Does this mean that you'll give me a chance and let me get to know you?" he asks.

I pull back and nod my head at him.

"I'll give you a chance, but I mean it when I say that you better keep your hands to yourself" I pin Grey with a glare.

Grey just throws his head back laughing at me.

"What a pair of psycho's" River mutters.

I turn my head to look at River and he's shaking his head.

Revenge is already tasting good.

...

Myself, River and Grey decided to sit in the living area and watch some movies. Me and River agreed that we would carry on with our series tonight.

"Aurora, will you go on a date with me?" Grey asks.

I look over to him, to find him already staring at me.

"Absolutely not. I said I would give you a chance to get to know me, not to date me" I narrow my eyes at him.

Grey throws his hands in the air, groaning. "I literally set someone's house on fire for you, the least you could do is go on a date with me" he says.

"Did I ask you to commit arson? No, no I didn't. You just proved to me that you're already whipped and I didn't even have to have a full conversation with you for you to pull out all the stops to get my attention" I smile sweetly at him.

"She has a point bro, you did kind of set yourself up with failure there" River chimes in.

I start laughing to myself until I'm interrupted with sound of the front door slamming and in walks an angry looking Kade.

"Which one of you set fire to Brianna's house!" he yells.

"Oh shut the fuck up would you. Is she dead?" I ask.

He turns to face me. "Well no" he says.

"The what's the issue? Don't tell me you started sleeping with her again and you're here to act like the hero because she's upset" I laugh.

He stares at me, his eyes softening.

"Aurora, I'm not sleeping with her anymore. Her parents were in that house and they don't deserve that because it wasn't them that made the mistake" he says, trying to reason with me.

I stand up and make my way towards him, until I'm standing right in front of him.

"Don't you dare expect me to have any sympathy Kade. They're partially at fault because they created that vermin of a girl. Don't you talk to me about what people don't deserve because you didn't care when it was me" I shout.

I watch as he closes his eyes and sighs. He opens his eyes and looks at me. "I did care though Aurora, but I cared too late. You have to believe me, I called the deal off. I love you for fuck sake" he yells at me.

He loves me? He wouldn't know what love is if it bit him on the ass.

"You don't love me Kade, the only person you love is yourself. You ruined me and all you have to say is that you cared a bit too late. Fuck you. I didn't set that house on fire because what I have planned is much worse" I grit at him.

I walk out of the room and make my way up to River's room. All I want to do is sleep and that's what I'm going to do because after all, I do need my beauty sleep for tomorrow.
