Eight

I yawn and roll over on my mat, blinking slowly.

It's early and I'm up. I sigh and groan then roll over onto my back.

Naruto's face is right there suddenly with wide eyes.

I jerk back in surprise then sigh and rub my face.

"What are you doing?" I ask groggily.

"What did you tell Sasuke that made him so much better?!" Naruto says angrily.

I push him away from my face and sit up.

"What are you talking about?" I ask, getting up.

"Sasuke suddenly got really good and he said you helped him!" Naruto complains.

I rub my eyes but then quickly put my contacts in.

"I told him the same thing Sakura told you" I say finishing.

I pull on my top shirt and say "He just understood it better I guess"

Naruto growled "How come he understands it better than me?"

I poke his forehead and say "Because he's concentrating unlike you right now!"

Naruto gasps and says "You're right!" He turns and runs out of the room.

I sigh and roll my eyes but then make the bed and leave.

I walk downstairs and grab an apple for breakfast.

Kakashi looks at me and asks "Where are you going?"

I smile and say "Sakura is taking a turn in watching Tazuna so I'm gonna go scout the area"

Kakashi nods "Alright but get back before sundown"

I smirk "Yeah okay dad"

I realize that I didn't say that sarcastically enough and it sounded like I was actually calling him dad.

I turn to him and quickly shake my head "That's not what I meant, I mean-"

We lock eyes and he says "I know sarcasm Hadeki"

"Oh" I say. I clear my throat and turn then say "Yeah I'll be back before sundown"

I run off and go into the woods.

I climb trees and catch rabbits then let them free again.

I watch the two boys train then I go run around the forest some more.

The day slowly passes and I return to the house.

Naruto and Sasuke aren't there as always and we eat without them when suddenly the door swings open.

Naruto with the help of Sasuke walks in.

They're all dirty and tired looking.

I raise an eyebrow at them.

Naruto looks up and grins "We did it!" He said happily.

Sasuke sighs and let's go of Naruto, making him fall to the ground.

"We climb all the way up the tree without our hands" Sasuke explains sitting down.

"Alright!" I say raising a hand.

Sasuke looks at it then rolls his eyes and high gives me.

I smirk at Kakashi and turn to them.

"Who made it up first?" I ask

The two boys immediately start saying that they did.

Sakura walks in and rolls her eyes "I was there and I saw it" Sakura says.
