It's Christmas Eve tonight. Edward asked me on a date for lunch today. I'm wearing a kind of fancy dress I got when I went shopping with Rosalie, Esme and Alice.
I did my hair nicer than usual. We are just going to the diner but than I'm going to his house for a Christmas Eve dinner. I'm not sure what I'm going to eat.
I know that I will probably be eating leftovers for days at their house. Because they don't eat food.
I hear the doorbell ring I run down to answer it.
"Hi Caroline you look gorgeous." Edward say.
I blush and look down.
"Thank you. You look nice too." I say.
"You ready?" Edward asks.
"Yes." I say.
I put my black boots on and follow Edward out the door. He opens the passenger side door for me. Then we speeds to the drivers side.
"Are you excited for Christmas?" Edward asks.
"Yeah I am. I told Bella that I'm bisexual." I tell him.
"Really how'd she take it?" He asks.
"I'm not sure she said 'Oh' then said 'You don't look gay.' But I think after we talked a bit she took it better." I tell him.
"Ah Care I'm sorry." He says.
"It's not your fault." I say.
Then we get to the diner. Edward opens the door for me again. We walk in the diner together.
"What are you going to get?" Edward asks me once we sit at a table.
"I think the cheeseburger and a root beer." I say.
"Cool I'll order inside of fries and you can eat some." He says.
"Ok."
The waiter comes to take our food order.
On our dates Edward will usually always get a side of food and I'll just get the main meal. I'm not sure why we could just share one meal. It's just something we do.
"You'll be coming over tomorrow right? That's all Esme will talk about is whether or not you and Mike will be coming over." Edward says.
"Yeah. So Esme really liked Mike huh?" I ask jokingly.
"Oh yeah she thinks he's such a sweet kid." Edward tells me.
"Well that's good Mike was so worried about whether or not your parents liked him." I say.
"Well now he can calm down." Edward says and we both laugh.
We get our food or well I get mine cause Edward can't eat.
"Is it good?" Edward asks after I take the first couple bites.
"Oh yeah this place has the best burgers." I say in between bites.
I eat the food quite quickly.
"I'm going to use the washroom." I say as I get up.
When I get back to the table I see that the plates have been all cleared away.
"I've already paid. Let's go." Edward says.
"Ok." I say.
We walk out to Edward's car in silence. He opens the car door for me again.
"Can I take you somewhere before we head to my house?" Edward asks.
"Yeah." I say.
He starts driving to what look's like it's out of Forks. We pull into a parking lot of a trail in the woods. At the store people come in all the time and ask which trails are the better ones for hiking.
"Are we going hiking?" I ask him.
He laughs.
"Well it's a little bit of a walk." He says.
"How little?" I ask.
"4 miles." He says like 4 miles is nothing.
"4 miles! are you crazy?" I yell.
"Well I was thinking you can just magic us to where we're going." Edward says.
"How can I magic there if I don't know where we're going?" I ask.
"Well just say something like 'Take me and Edward to the place he wants to take me.'" He explains.
That's pretty smart I didn't think of that.
Take me and Edward to the place he is planning on taking me.
The cloud of pink surrounds both of us to the point where we can't see. When the cloud of pink disappears we are in an beautiful clearing in the woods.
"Wow." I say.
"I know it's beautiful." Edward says.
I see Edward lay down on the grass and I go to lay beside him.
"How'd you find this place?" I ask.
He takes a deep breath in.
"I found it one night when I was running." He says.
"It's really pretty." I tell him.
We lay there in silence but it's not an awkward silence it's a relaxed silence if that makes sense. I feel like we've been laying there for 5 minutes but when I check the time I realize we've been laying here for an hour.
"Time to go?" Edward asks once he see's that I've checked the time.
"Yeah I think so." I say.
We get up and I magic us back to his car.
"What would you have done if someone had seen you use your magic?" Edward asks.
"I don't know magic them to forget?" I say in form of a question.
He laughs again this time I laugh with him. He kisses me then we get into his car.
"Ready to go?" He asks me.
"Yeah I am." I say.
Then Edward starts to drive us to his house for dinner.
