Hummus is a savory dish popular in the Middle East and Mediterranean, as well as in Middle Eastern cuisine around the globe. It can also be used as dip or as a spread. Super easy and quick to make.

Ingredients:

1 & 1/2 Cup Cooked Chickpeas

1/4th Cup Fresh Lemon Juice

1/4th Cup Tahini

2-4 Tablespoon Olive Oil

1/2 Teaspoon Ground Cumin (Cumin Powder)

3-5 Tablespoon Water


Procedure:

1. In a blender add the cooked chickpeas, lemon juice, cumin and tahini.

2. Initially only add 3 tablespoon of water and 2 tablespoon olive oil. Blend everything together.

3. Gradually add the remaining water and olive oil and continue blending until you get a smooth mixture.


Note:

1. You can garnish with a drizzle of olive oil and sprinkle paprika powder (red chili powder).

2. The given measurement of olive oil and water gave me the perfect consistency. You can gradually add more but make sure not to over do it.
