Bella's pov still
"Whoa, chillax. No feature." He said after trying one more to try to convince me on the feature me feeling relieved I decided to change the conversation
"Would you mind just pointing her toward Mr. Varner's class?" Y/N asked politely but quickly cos he knew I wanted to get away from him I think he also wanted to get away from him
He leads us away, clearly enjoying the attentive stares, but we just cringe from them as we weren't enjoying it at all. Eric speaks once more.
"You two've missed a lot of the semester, but I can hook you up - tutor, cliff notes, medical excuse.." he said but I started to block him out tbh I should've done that when Y/N started too. Once we got to Mr Varners class Y/N went to his After Mr Varner class finished me and Y/N had Gym well separate gym lesson we met up then started heading towards the gym
The boys' basketball team runs drills on half the basketball court, which is what Y/N on and lemme tell you, this has got to be the happiest he has ever been, he smiled the entire time and that saying something. A girls' volleyball game occupies the other half. Me, in gym clothes, tries to avoids the volleyball like it's radioactive. But an energetic, athletic team captain, Jessica motivates the players well tries to anyways.
"Block it, Chloe! Yeah! Good attack!" Jessica said but unfortunately, the volleyball heads toward me. I closed my eyes and flails at it, smacking it. It flies off our side of the court and hits a basketball player in the head. Y/N saw the whole thing so he ran towards me
"Are you okay? It didn't hit u right?" Y/N asks panicky questions until I gently placed my hand on his shoulder,not w out him flinching slightly, but that did shut him up w answers stating that I was okay it was awkward until we heard someone saying something
"Ow" someone said as I hurried to him, embarrassed that I hurt someone w the ball that I hit away from myself a second prior
"Are you alright? I warned them not to make me play." I told the guy awkwardly which got a chuckle from Y/N
"It's only a flesh wound." The guy told me as he grinned which makes me smile in relief just then the bell rings which meant class was over.
"You're Isabella, right? And you're Y/N right?" The guy asked us as Y/N nodded his head at the mention of his name
"Just Bella" I told him as he nodded his head a little to acknowledge that I only wanna be called Bella
" I'm Mike. Newton." Mike told us as he looks at me a second too long, I'm guessing Jessica saw cos suddenly, Jessica appears, stepping between me and Mike. She what she thought was subtle,but it was clearly possessive she nudges Mike.
"She's got a great spike, doesn't she?" Jessica said Mike before looking at me and Y/N. " So, you two are from Arizona, right? Aren't people supposed to be tan down there?" She asked me before looking at Y/N "not you Y/N you look perfectly tanned" she said flirting w him but I'm guessing that cause Mike was looking at me too long for her taste so she using Y/N as a victim
"If you're flirting at me to make Mike jealous I don't think it working" he said to Jessica hoping it'd work but it didn't it just made Jessica wrap her arms over his
"That's why they kicked me out, I guess" I said shrugging my shoulders, making Mike laugh and I'm pretty sure cos Mike is laughing Jessica laughs as well. Y/N and I stood still just feeling uncomfortable with the attention.. since it was lunch me, Y/N, Mike and Jessica goes to the cafeteria when we get there we got our food and me, Y/N, Mike and Jessica carry our trays to table. Which Eric appears, and squishes into a seat next to me.
"Mike, you met my home girl Bella." Eric says to Mike while wrapping his arm around my shoulder
"Your home girl?" He asked surprisingly before chasing him
"It's first grade all over again, land you're the shiny new toy." Jessica says smiling but w a hint of jealousy i smiled awkwardly. Suddenly, a flashbulb blinds me and Y/N. We looks up to see who it was, we see a girl w a camera smiling guilty like she just been caught, I'm guess she is Jessica's
"Sorry, needed a candid for the feature, and it much better since there is two of you" she said looking guiltily at us I saw Y/N open his mouth to talk but Eric beat him to it so he closed his mouth
"Feature's dead, Angela. Don't bring it up again." Eric said to the girl that we now know it is Angela he then looked towards  to me. "I got your back, baby." He said once again I shook my head
"Guess we'll just run another editorial on teen drinking." Angela said disappointedly and since I felt guilty I decide to help what I didn't know was Y/N had the same idea
"Sorry. There's always eating disorders" I said slowly not wanting to upset her
" or Speedo padding on the swim team" Y/N said w a smile on his face
" Wait, that's a good one.." Angela said as Y/N chuckled
"I'm glad I could help" he said before my attention turned towards the double doors of the cafeteria

Y/N Pov
Next day
It is mine and Bella's first day at our new school, Forks High School, I decided to get out of bed when I heard Bella going downstairs so I went out of my room  n in the bathroom to have a shower after I took one I decided to shave my beard to smarten myself up, 10 minutes later i come downstairs dressed and ready for high school well i didn't wanna go who actually likes going to school

"You ready for school?" Bella asked me as I looked at her like she was crazy while that was happening I notice Bella taking a quick look over on my face, I decided I'd talk to her about that but first
"Am I ready for school? Are you crazy? Who actually like school?!" I replied while looking at her like she grew a another head
" I only asked geez and you shaved? I thought you liked your beard?" She replied then asked me two other questions, okay so I didn't need to ask her why she was taking a quick look over
"I'm sorry I'm just nervous, going to school and all" i replied since it true and all as she nodded before i carried on talking. "Yeh I did like my beard but I shaved cos I didn't wanna look like a homeless person" i said as she nodded her head
"But you kept the hairstyle? Do you like the hairstyle?" She asked confusedly I sighed hoping the questions would stop
"Yeh is that bad?" I asked worriedly, I mean can't I keep my hairstyle
"No I was just confused anyways let head to school" she said as we both walked toward our truck
we got to the school car park as people turning their heads as Bella parks. All eyes are on us as we climb out of our truck and I saw Bella step in a puddle, soaking her sneakers. She slink toward the school, as I trailed behind her. Bella, not w out her IPOD, w me still trailing behind her makes our way thru kids who stare openly at us only a few brave ones say hi. But mostly they're all talking about us. This is our hell. We wander through the walkways looking for room numbers, Bella obviously made us lost even though she didn't wanna admit it
"Are you sure we not lost bella?" I asked finally talking since we got here mainly cos I wanted to keep to myself
"Yeh I'm sure" she told me I obviously knew we were lost I also knew Bella did not want to tell me we were. It didn't help that there were constant stares at me and Bella, we were the outsiders.. but we finally got help when a nerdy boy appears in our path.
"You're Isabella Swan, Y/N L/N, the new girl and boy. Hi. I'm Eric. The eyes and ears of this place. Anything you need. Tour guide, lunch date, shoulder to cry on. Well obviously not the lunch date w Y/N." The guy who introduced himself as Eric rambled as Bella just looks at him then at me then back at Eric again. Is he for real? I can tell he is not popular at all
"I'm kind of the "suffer in silence" type." Bella said quickly trying to shut down what Eric was saying, I could tell that Bella was panicking so I decided to pipe in
"Good headline for your feature-" Eric said about to say more before he got interrupted by me
"Do you ever shut up?" I said to Eric both me and Bella knew Eric heard but he ignored me.
"I'm on the paper, and you're news, baby, front page." Eric carried on as Bella tried to stopping him once more
"I -- no, I'm not news -- I'm, seriously, not at all" Bella said as she started stuttering a little
