Life waster

Little me wanted to be a writer
Teenager me wanted to be a poet
Current me wants to become both
Hoping to have her own books
Hoping to have her own songs
Maybe her own movies too
But future me seems to be asleep
Wasting her life between these sheets
I work hard for the wrong matters
Just how college made me stuck into my mattress
I work hard for the things that are not good for me
Just to end up being a life waster
Drained in tears
