Neteyam and Lo'ak stood in front of their dad being scolded for fighting. Lo'ak looked fed up, already hearing his dads words hundreds of times before.

Jake had told Lo'ak to apologise and try to make friends with Aonung and the others. However, after Lo'ak had left he was quick to change the conversation.

"So, how'd the others look."
"Worse."
"Good." Jake tried to hide his slight smile from his son. "A lot worse." Neteyam chuckled slightly.  "Get outa here."

——

It had been about an hour since Lo'ak had left to 'make peace' with the group of boys. Neteyam had started to become anxious. So when he had seen Aonung and his friends walking around laughing but Lo'ak was no where to be seen, he immediately started to question the chief's son.

"Where is my brother Aonung?"
"What brother?" Aonung was being sarcastic towards the shorter male. "Lo'ak. Who else would I be talking about you skxawng?"
"Oh, you mean the idiot who went with us outside the reef."
"What?! You took him where?! Are you stupid Aonung, he's going to get himself killed out there on his own."
"It's not my fault, your brothers the idiot who followed us out there."

Neteyam grabbed the boy's ponytail, yanking him towards the Sully's hut. "Come now. We must tell my father what you have done."

When r he two boys had walked into the hut, Neteyam pushed the other boy forward. "Tell him what you told me."

——

Tonowari had sent out a search party looking for the youngest of the Sully brothers. But the boy had been found quickly at the three brothers rocks.

When they had returned to the village Neytiri had came, worried for her son. "I pray to eywa for the strength that I do not pluck the eyes from my youngest son." She hissed, snatching her fingers at Lo'ak's eyes.

——

Neteyam was calm after the return of his brother. But now he was angry at the reef boy and his friends. He was disappointed in Aonung, they had only just began to build up their relationship but now the other boy had broken his trust.

The forest boy sat on the edge of the walkway, his feet dangling in the lukewarm water below. He felt the path shift underneath his, causing him to lean to the left. He turned his head only to be met with Aonung.

The reef boy sat next to the other, silence filling the air as they sat together. Neteyam's skin had become itchy from the nauseating feeling in his stomach, the silence starting to get to him.

He was just about to speak when the other boy's words had began to spill from his mouth. "I'm sorry forest prince. I shouldn't have taken your brother outside of the reef."

Aonung squeezed his hands around each other, anxiety causing a pit to form in his stomach. He hadn't meant to upset the other boy, he never wanted that.

"I can't say that it's okay because what you did was not okay. But I do accept your apology reef boy. It's good to know that you do care somewhat." Aonung felt a bit of relief at the others words. "Thanks forest prince." The reef boy relaxed slightly, dropping his shoulders in relief.

Neteyam sighed softly, resting his head onto Aonung's shoulder. This caused the boy to tense again slightly at the touch but he soon relaxed into the other boy. The sensation in his stomach not calming for a second.
