Over the next week or so the two boys had become completely inseparable. They were not open about the nature of their relationship but they did not hide their friendship and closeness. No one around them actually knew the extent of their relationship but a few had their suspicions.

The two had actually been quite careful in keeping their relationship to themselves. It was as if the two had become almost professionals in sneaking around late at night.

Neteyam and Aonung had many secret meetings over the past few days. Most nights were filled with sneaking and evading.

Night 1

Neteyam walked down the beach, it was almost sunset as he headed towards the small caves on the edge of the island. He had told his parents he was "going for a walk" when in fact he was heading to meet with Aonung.

When he arrived Aonung was leant against one of the cave's walls. As soon as Neteyam walked in Aonung's eyes darted straight to him.Neteyam headed straight over to Aonung, smiling as he rushed to him.

Neteyam jumped into the other boy's arms and quickly wrapping his legs around the boy's waist. He smiled as he looked down at his face, their eyes meeting. Neteyam's hand snaked up into the other's hair. He tugged at the band, his hair coming loose within seconds. "You're so beautiful when your hair is like this."
"Oh yeah?"
"Mhm. So pretty."

Neteyam lent down, their lips connecting instantly. Aonung grabbed onto Neteyam's head pulling him closer, deepening their kiss.

This went on for a while until they heard someone shouting in the distance. Whoever it was they were calling for Neteyam. However the forest boy had a pretty good idea of who it was, Lo'ak.

Neteyam groaned at the sound of his brother's voice, his head dipping into Aonung's neck. "Oh my eywa. Can't we get a moments peace? Your brother is so annoying."
"Leave him be Aon. He's probably only looking for me because my parents asked him to." He tapped on the other's shoulder. "Now let me down."

Night 2

Aonung had been out with his father all day, the two had been out of the reef hunting. By the time they had returned Aonung was ready to run off and see Neteyam again. However he was stopped by his mother, Ronal, something about not being able to see him all day.

It took a while for Ronal to allow her son leave, she couldn't understand why he was in such a rush to leave.

Aonung practically ran out of his hut and across the sand towards the cliffs. He saw Neteyam in the distance. The boy was sat against the base of the cliff, eyes closed and head tipped onto his shoulder.

Aonung walked as quietly and quickly as he possibly could, trying not to wake the sleeping boy. He crouched down next to Neteyam and leaned into his ear.
"Neteyam...." He dragged out his name as he whispered in his ear.

Neteyam's eyes flung open and he jumped from fright as he fell back onto his arms. "You asshole Aonung! You nearly scared me to death."
"Sorry Teyam. But you know it's not my fault that you're so fun to scare."

Aonung looked down at the other boy's position, smirking. He placed his arms beside his torso. He smiled as he leant down towards the other boy, their lips quickly connecting and Aonung's hands traveled around Neteyam's waist.

They moved in sync until they heard the sound of people talking. Aonung quickly jumped up and pulled Neteyam up with him.

"Why can we not get a moment alone." Aonung groaned as he leant his head against the rock behind him. "it'll be okay Aon. I can come see you again tomorrow."
"Meet me at the woodlands?"
"You know it."

Night 3

As planned Neteyam met Aonung at the woodlands on the island. They met at the edge of the woods before heading a bit further in. The two boys walked through the woods, hand in hand.

They walked and walked until their legs were too tired and they gave up. They lent against a tree as Neteyam sat between Aonung's legs, his head resting on his chest. Aonung's hands entangled themselves in the other boy's hair, undoing all of his braids. The forest na'vi's hair flowed down past his shoulders.

Aonung started to form Neteyam's hair in a traditional metkayina style. Most of his hair was flowing free but small braids decorated it throughout and tied back into a small bun.

They sat for a while as Aonung placed small pecks onto Neteyam's cheek. His kisses slowly moved down to Neteyam's jaw before running down his neck.

Neteyam leaned into the touch intensifying the sensation. His head turned as he placed a kiss of his own onto Aonung's cheek before smiling and returning back to his old position. He curled up closer into the other's chest and closing his eyes.

Aonung soon followed suit resting his head on the tree behind him and closing his eyes, hand running through Neteyam's hair.

This chapter may or may not have taken me two weeks to write but the next one shouldn't take as long. Also thank you all for being patient with me with this as I've been struggling with my motivation and mental health rn.
