Epilogue
The family along with Alvaro and Asami approached Mikey who was given advice by Magus.
"He is right; even though your destiny has been done, your life has just begun" Asami stated.
"If you want to stay here, you can" said Splinter: "You boys are getting to the age where you can do what you wish in life"
"Just promise us if you move, you'll still visit us" Leonardo pleaded.
"You know I'll always be there for you dudes" Mikey smiled at his family before turning to Alvaro and Asami:
"Thanks for the offer but I wish to decline"
"What?" The brothers gawked surprisingly.
"Are you sure?" Alvaro asked.
"As much as I adore this world and such, I prefer to be with my family," Michelangelo replied.
"But Mikey-!" Donnie tried to find words to respond.
"Ya said you love this world and it makes you feel more free and welcome here than New York" Raphael replied for Donnie.
"True and maybe someday I will move here but right now, I don't feel ready to move" Mikey responded. "Right now, I'd rather be with my family and friends back in New York city"
The young one hugs his brothers: "You guys are my home, wherever you three go, I'll go"
"Are you sure that's what you want?" Splinter asked, smiling at his sons.
"Yes papa, I want to stay with you guys longer before I move in a few years or so; like they said, my life has just begun so why rush it?" Mikey chuckled.
"If that's what you wish then we respect that" Asami nodded.
"You guys are always welcome here" Alvaro added, winking at the mutants.
"Thank you" Splinter thanked the Magerias before he turns to his sons:
"Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael; I want you three to promise both your little brother and myself that you will not rely too much on Michelangelo's powers for certain things for now on"
"We promise," Leonardo agreed.
"Yeah, we're sorry we made you feel like you're just a tool to us" Donnie apologised.
"Sorry bro" Raphael also apologised.
"Thanks guys and I'm sorry again for wishing you weren't my brothers" Mikey also apologised.
"It's OK, Otōto; we forgive you" Leonardo cuddles Mikey again.
"And I forgive you guys" Mikey happily chuckled.
"And we want to apologise too, Michelangelo; we also rely too much on your powers for things and you're our friend, we shouldn't have done that" Alvaro wished to apologise as well.
"We'll address the city and have them not summon you for trivial things for now on as well; we'll only summon you if we're in real danger" Asami vowed.
"I'd appreciate that, thank you and I'll always be there to help you guys" Mikey thanked before he looks back at his family then adds:
"But can I ask for one thing in return?"
"And what's that?" Asami quizzed.
"If you need me then my brothers can come with me to help me if they wish" Mikey suggested.
