in the corner of the room, Pony could see a girl
shivering.
there were two boys flaunting her and pushing her
around.
he recognized her hair as Adrianna's.
"Adrianna?" Pony asked.
she turned around, nothing on her body except
sheets that were tied around her.
"what the hell are you doing here?" one of the boys
asked.
"Adrianna please come over here." Pony said and she
tried to walk over, but the boys stopped her.
"hey, man. i don't wanna have to beat the hell out
of you guys, but i will if i have to. so let the girl go
and tell us what the hell happened." Dally snapped.
Adrianna eventually walked over and collapsed in
Pony's arms.
"they raped me." she whispered in a deathly tone.
"what?" his voice cracked.
"you heard me." she said back.
he handed her over to Dally gently and and ran at the two guys.
his body was like a fireball in a forest of dead trees.
every move he made was nothing they could stop, it
was enough to kill.
"which one of you sick bastards did it?" Pony said,
his mouth not moving.
"the names Carl." one of the guys smiled.
Pony lunged onto him and punched him with every
ounce of anger in his body.
the other boy ripped him off but Pony kicked him
into the wall, creating a large thud and a dent.
he was knocked out cold, so Pony got back to Carl.
he kicked him so hard his foot might've broke, but
Pony didn't care at all.
they had hurt his girl.
bad.
the boys were both unconscious, Carl was barely
breathing.
Pony looked over to Dally, who was holding a
sobbing Adrianna
"no, no, no, no, no. " Pony rushed over to them and
took Adrianna from Dally.
Even if they all where fighting they would have never done this to her, they weren't gonna fight after this.
Dal motioned for the boy who opened the front
door to get Carl and his friend to a hospital.
"shh. I've got you now. they're gone. they're gone
he whispered and she couldn't keep her sobs in.
Pony told Dal to go the gang, and then helped
Adrianna get some clothes on.
the gang came rushing in and Brad just about
tackled Adrianna
"oh, baby doll. what'd they do to you?" he
whispered so gently it sounded like a different
person.
"they raped me." she repeated.
the whole gangs facial expressions fell.
their hearts broke for her.
that was not the Adrianna they knew.
"I'll take care of the police reports, they're on their
way to take care of those boys." Darry said bluntly,
walking out.
Darry could never handle this type of stuff, it made him sick to his stomach.
Adrianna continued crying until she had nothing left
to cry, so she just sat there.
"Adrianna you are the strongest person i know, you
can get through this." Johnny said and rubbed her
back calmly.
"I'M GONNA KILL THOSE BASTARDS!" Soda
suddenly yelled and kicked a random spinny chair.
he sat down on the floor and Dallv sat next to them, not even Dallas Winston knew what to think.
"Pony." she whispered.
he quickly sat down next to her and looked to her
for any words.
"i wanna tell you what happened." she said.
he nodded and told the gang to leave.
they did so, but Pony knew they would listen from
outside the door.
"Brad kicked me out and I was was walking outside real late because I didn't want to go home until you guys where asleep." she paused and looked down.
"it's okay, you can say it if you want." Pony
wrapped his arms around her.
"and it was that boy. he grabbed me and stuffed me
in that car. i tried yelling your name but they
covered my mouth.
we arrived at this house. it smelled like the bad drugs. and they..oh Pony.." her eyes became glossy and his heart ached, literally.
"they raped you?" he guessed and she nodded and
broke down again.
he held her tight and she listened to the steady beat
of his heart.
it wasn't near steady, though. it was slow, but quick
at the same time.
"how many times?" he asked.
"they only did it once, their parents got home so
they stuffed me in that damn closet. they must've
fell asleep because i sat there and cried the whole
night. i think i fell asleep at some point. if you
wouldn't of came though." she said between shaky
breaths.
"i know, baby. i know." his voice was so calming to
her.
"about what Johnny said. I'm gonna be strong for
you guys. i'll get through this. as long as he goes to
jail and you give me daily cuddles." it was the first
joke she had made.
Pony knew the Adrianna he knew the night before
was still there, but hurt.
he wasn't going to let anybody hurt her like that
ever again.
