"So what's up?" She asked "Okay, so you remember my ex girlfriend right? Well she called me saying she wants to meet me and when we did she apologised and said she wants to fix "our bridges " but I rejected her apology and then we argued and she called me a stubborn child. And now I feel bad for rejecting her apology" I said in one breath.

"Um okay, that was alot but I think you should listen to what she has to say because it looks like you didn't let her explain herself " She responded softly. "But I'm afraid" I said "Why" She answered "Of being heartbroken again. What if I fall for her again and she breaks my heart. What if I spiral back in to depression?" I pondered

"Kook, you are over thinking this. You're just going to accept an apology but you are acting as if it could start an apocalypse!" She said "If you don't feel comfortable with it, the no one is forcing you "

"Thanks Chae. Your advice is really helpful " I beamed "You are right. I'm over thinking it too much " I continued. I got up, ready to leave when she said "You never told me who your ex was"

I froze. I can't tell her it was her best friend. I could cause a rift between them, but I also didn't want to lie to Chae.
