"Actually he is from a big family and is the only heir of Eunwoo enterprises, one of the biggest industries in South Korea", I am trying hard to be coherent while I am speaking because the more I take his name out, the more I miss him.
"His parents were totally against his idol training but he wanted to show them his passion. He couldn't go against their words, so soon, he gave up on his dream.
His parents are very particular in everything so they made sure to remove every trace of their son's records when he was in training as he has to take up the company one day in the future", even I was disappointed when I heard this for the first time from Eunwoo.
I can never imagine the hurt he must have gone through for leaving behind his dream even after going through training.
"But he always thinks that if his mother had supported him he would have been a successful idol just like you. He always compares everything with you. This made him obsessed with you", I am trying to explain why Jungkook is the reason for everything that happened so far.
"I made everything worse. I can understand his situation but his reason is irrational. I like you a lot", I looked at Jungkook who is listening to me intently all this time.
"I mean, you are always an inspiration to me, even though I like all the members equally but you are always special to me. But Eunwoo misunderstood it. I couldn't make him understand that I didn't look at you the way a woman looks at a man", I lied with confidence because I can't give him the wrong idea.
Jungkook doesn't know me but Eunwoo knows so he understood.
"He always ends up arguing with me whenever I use your name unintentionally in our conversations.
So in the same way, he didn't allow me to go to the concert but still I came. He used a few words that were really harsh, being a woman I can't say them out", my throat got dry when I tried to remember his words so I took the glass of water and gulped all at once.
"Are you okay? You must be missing him a lot", Jungkook asked, placing his hand on my left hand trying to calm me but he doesn't know his touch has a complete opposite effect on me.
I don't know why but he seemed upset at something.
"But I never loved him. I couldn't see him as more than a friend. Of course I miss him a lot but as a friend. He used to be my best friend after Misoo, but I didn't see him as a man, I could never", this time I looked at his eyes and thought, Except you.
I couldn't say this but my eyes can tell but I am not sure he could see it or not.
"Now everything makes sense. I got to know the whole story with a simple question. I hope you are okay now.
Shall we have some dessert?" Jungkook asked, slowly removing his hand from mine and successfully diverted the topic.
We completed our meal so we can now taste the dessert and fly like he said.
"Yeah, I am eagerly waiting to taste the dessert. If I don't fly, I will definitely sue you for deceiving me", I tried to ease the air around us as it became thick because of our earlier conversation.
"Hahaha, sure go ahead", Jungkook looked amused at first and then with his crackhead laugh which made me do a flip mentally, the air got settled.
"So you were crying for the same reason on the Han bridge?" Jungkook asked me suddenly and his question caught me off guard as I couldn't tell him he was the reason back then.
"No, that day, I didn't cry because of Eunwoo", I tried to avoid answering but the way he was looking at me made it hard to not be honest with him.
"Mmmmm...... It's because of you. You didn't even give me a chance to explain on the concert day. And accused me saying I kissed you.
