Change - Sklance

Part 4: Quick escape

With the information Lance successfully gathered, Voltron made it's move on securing and rescuing a new planet and it's population from being completely taken over however when they entered the sector they ran into trouble. 

"Crap, guys we got incoming!" Lance yelled and pushed his controls forward as he fired on the enemy, "I'm coming!" Hunk flew in with Lance into destroying the Galra fleet that made their way through hyper speed "Lance, Hunk, 2'clock on your left! Keith, 6'clock on your right! Pidge, watch out!" Shiro exclaimed, Pidge quickly fired at her attacker and Lance, Hunk and Keith kept firing at the ships they continued their way, "I'm heading down, cover me" Lance pushed his controls towards the planet, time to get rid of the Galra forces on the ground while the others took care of the ones above. He left the cockpit and Blue opened her mouth as he jumped out with his gun, using his jetpack to soften his descend and began to fire at the Galra, Blue covering him by firing at the large buildings while he took care of the fleet around him. 

One by one Galra citizens fell, buildings were collapsing into rubble and Blue and Lance working as a duo team into defeating the enemy. 

"Blue, I'll take care inside, stay out here and have your barrier up" he told her through their mind link as she grumbled about that but reluctantly agreed and put up her barrier. Lance positioned his gun to an aim as he entered the building that wasn't completely destroyed or in flames. He took a deep breath, shooting Galra and sentries as he made his way straight he planned on downloading on what the hell were doing on this planet since he couldn't find out much from that download on the cruiser. "Pidge, I'm going to try and download some data from the building where Blue is at, I'll send it to you in a minute" he said going into a room with his gun still aimed "Be careful man, We got it covered up here but be quick" he bit his lip, the feeling of uneasement still didn't move out of his nerves. 

He needed to hurry this up, he continued up ahead and made it to the main room acting quick he ran to the system and began to do somethings while starting up a data download when the doors slammed behind him, he gasped and whipped around holding his gun up face to face with Lotor. "Oh, what the hell do you want now? Can't you see I'm busy" he hissed, glancing at the download that was at 32%. 

Fuck, Hurry up!

Lotor looked almost amused "Such hostility, Love" he glared at the prince, "Okay suck it and fuck off kindly before I put a bullet in your head" he threatened, Lotor smirked as Lance glanced again at the download now halfway, if it hurrys it up he can snatch the chip and have to fight his way out somehow. It just needed to hurry the fuck up!

"Now, now love, no need to be a scared young lad" Lotor chuckled "Look I am not in the mood to deal with you so again, fuck off kindly before I put a bullet in your head" scowling Lance heard a beep, the download was done. Keeping his eyes on Lotor he moved a hand behind him and snatched the chip into his hand and stashed it to quick for Lotor to catch its hiding place, smart boy. 

Now, Lance was in a predicament that he needed to be rational about, he's had his fair share of ending up in Lotor's hands for whatever reason and he hated that. There was possibly two ways this could go. A) He'd have to fight his way out or B) He'd have to call for back-up, he doesn't like Lotor at all. All the creepy vibes he gave off rubbed Lance in all the unpleasant ways and that something he greatly dislikes, he had to send this to Pidge but first things first, shake off Lotor and get back to Blue.

He breathed and took aim. 

"Oh and by the way," he started glaring at Lotor who quirked an eyebrow at him. 

"Don't call me love, Puta" he pulled the trigger.

Running through the halls with Lotor quick on his tail, Lance cursed in his native tongue saying all kinds of comebacks, insults on just about everything and curses that he should've hurried up getting out of there. Lotor threw something at him but Lance twisted his body and jumped over the debris, he'd just about had it with Lotor and his bullshit. Whipping around Lance fired his gun making Lotor hide behind a wall, taking the chance Lance made a run for it and continued to fire just to keep him by that wall. "Blue, lower your particle barrier now!" he yelled as she did so and lowered her head opening her mouth as he threw himself inside and she quickly shut her mouth as Lance raced to the cockpit. Slamming himself in the pilots seat he grabbed the controls and quickly pulled back, "Allura, get that wormhole opened now!" he shouted rushing to the others "Is something wrong?" she asked as her screen popped up on his "Lotor's here, I need a wormhole now" she opened a wormhole for him and everyone else was quick to follow him through.
