My eyes shot open as I looked at my phone. My school alarm was going off, so I turned it off. I tried to sit up, only to realize that Dame still had his arm wrapped around me.
I lightly removed his arm and replaced it with a pillow. I quietly got up and stretched, realizing that I had less than two hours before school started. I began to get ready faster.
"Where you going?" I jumped at the sudden sound of Dame's voice.
"Home. We got school in a few hours."
"So?"
"So if I don't get home, I won't make it in time."
"You not going today."
"And why not?"
"Cause we spending the day together." He replied and hopped up out of the bed and headed to his bathroom.
I just silently complied as I sat on the bed and unlocked my phone. I had at least fifty missed calls and text from my mom combined. Also, from Taina and Chris and the group chat as a whole. I only decided to reach out to them first, cause I was going to give my mom time to cool down.
