"Mister Cock, your attention, please?"

Leo choked as he woke up, a sliver of drool running from his mouth. Piper raised an eyebrow in his doorway, her rainbow irises glinting curiously. Leo looked around, and realized he'd fallen asleep at the desk again. He rubbed the side of his face he'd been sleeping on, and tiredly blinked at Piper.

"Wha- What?" he croaked, his voice hoarse. "You're back? Already?"

"We were gone for several hours."

Leo blinked out of sync and rose to his feet. He lumbered over to Piper, wiping his eyes as he stopped in front of her.

She was a little taller than him, but not much, and her skin was a little darker. Her nose was straight and broad, her choppy chestnut hair was braided carelessly on one shoulder, and it looked messy and damp, like she'd been fighting. Her lips were always turned to a sort of smile, no matter how sad she was, and her eyebrows rested kindly on her face.

Really, she looked nothing like Leo. She was way prettier, and she had a proper amount of meat on her bones. Still, Leo often found himself wishing he'd come from the same person as her. Even if it meant he or she looked different, to Leo, Piper was his older sister, despite being only a month his senior. Leo loved her, he confided in her, and he annoyed the shit out of her.

He didn't know how to say goodbye to her.

"Don't call me Mister Cock," he grunted as he shouldered past her. A mistake, obviously, because Piper bumped his hip with hers as hard as she could, and knocked him into the wall. He slid down with a groan, his legs splayed out on the floor.

Piper glared at him. "Don't start that shit."

She began walking away, which was a mistake as well. Leo tripped her, and she went flying into the floor with a yelp. Leo snickered evilly as he rose from his spot, leapt over her writhing body, and bolted above deck.

"LEOOOOOO!" Piper screamed. Leo immediately bolted and hid his body behind Jason, clinging onto his shoulders.

"Save me?" he whimpered.

"All you, dude," Jason snorted as he brushed Leo away.

"Why are we gathering up here?" Leo asked.

Percy nodded his head out to sea, where a massive, red sea serpent was moving around about a hundred yards out. "That thing is really red. I wonder if it's cherry flavored."

"Why don't you swim over and find out?" Annabeth suggested.

"How about no."

"Where's Runa?" Frank asked as he looked around. Leo squinted as Frank trained his gaze on Leo.

Leo backed away, and realized everyone had their gaze trained on him. "What? You think I know?"

"Yeah!" Everyone scoffed in sync. Leo rolled his eyes and shrugged.

"I dunno. I was asleep," Leo admitted. His face quickly morphed into confusion. "Wait, so where is she?"
