Chapter 24

I walked around the boat, trying to find anything.

Any weapons, food water, anything.

"John b? Is this you?"JJ asks.

I stop and run towards the ladder.

I climbed up the ladder and looked at everyone.

"Kildare? What?"Sarah asks as she holds the phone.

"John b?"I asked. The phone beeped and the line went dead.

"Kildare. What the hell?"Sarah asks.

"You guys think he found his father?"Cleo asks.

"What?"I asked.

"He's been missing for almost a year"Pope says.

"Sarah, what do you think?"Kie asks.

"Sarah, We're sitting ducks. We need to make a decision. Are we turning back around or are we gonna keep going?"JJ asked.

"Sarah, We need to make a decision!"JJ yells.

"He said go."sarah speaks up.

"Hold on-"Sarah cuts JJ off.

"Go"Sarah says.

The others went off and i drove the boat while JJ sat in front of me.

"You sure you didn't tell him where the diary is?"JJ asks.

"I told him i'd seen it but i didn't tell him where."I said as JJ gets up and moves to me.

"Why does Singh want it so much?"JJ asks me.

He sat behind me and propped his arms up on the back of the seats.

"Singh said that he thinks the diary has a clue  to the location of some city of gold."I said, looking back at JJ.

"Like the gold on the Merchant was just a small part of it."I state.

"Okay, so the diary we have leads to a 500 year old treasure that nobody has ever found?"JJ asks.

"Pretty much"I told JJ. "I'm in. It's kind of like my best option at this point. definitely beats geometry class"JJ said.

"Beats school in general"I said, JJ got up and stood next to me.

"I mean, i don't even know what'll happen when we get back to OBX. Nothing good. I can tell you that"JJ said.

"shit is gonna suck for like a year."I tell him.

"At least you don't have restitution, though. No job. No parents. Yeah, arrows are going to be coming in hot"Jj said.

"but, you know what we do when arrows come flying?"JJ asks me.

I look at him.

"Bing. Ding. ding,ding, ding!"JJ yells as he acts like he punches the air.

"yeah?"I asked with a smile.

"and with a spear, you plant, take, disarm and straight into the Jugular, finish them off"JJ said.

The boat moved and JJ grabbed onto my body.

"One by one. We'll defeat them all"JJ whispers to me.

"whatever happens, We'll handle it together"I tell him.

JJ looks at my lips then back up at my eyes.

"Guys"Pope said, JJ turned and looked at JJ.

"Just wanted to let you guys know, we should probably stop for gas"Pope says.

"Ok"JJ says as pope walks away.

"Is he okay?"I asked JJ.

"I'll talk to him later."JJ says.

Cleo, Sarah, Kie and I sat at the front of the boat.

We got to Basseterre, St. Kitts, Cleo and pope left to go get some food.

Sarah,Kie, JJ and I waited on the boat.

"Princess"Jj says, walking to me as i laid on the floor at the top of the boat.

I hummed.

He held out to me as the radio on the boat turned on.

"Dance with me" JJ says with a smile.

'Love story by Indila' played.

(It's the song i'm listening to rn)

I laugh and grabbed his hand, He pulls me up and holds my right hand and puts one of his hands on my waist.

I put my left hand on his shoulder and we moved in a circle.

JJ smiled and his dimples showed.

He puts his arm up and i go under his arm, spinning. I laugh and spin him under my arm, with a smile.

His hand went to my left hand and we moved in and out.

I went to his left and he went to my right and we switched.

Smiles laid on our faces as we danced through the song.

JJ dipped me backwards and pulled me into a kiss.

I pushed my head to his and he smiled into the kiss.

"Guys! We're back!"Cleo yelled3

JJ and I broke the kiss and helped Pope and Cleo with the food.

"Let's go back to the OBX"

A.N- Hey babes. I'm sorry for the short chapter. But, the next one or two chapters are gonna be good. I wanted to put JJ and Valerie dancing together because i though it would be a nice ending.
