My Story | Owari No Seraph

Arriving

Everything was wrecked. The buildings all collapsed.
Except one.
A beautiful castle standing alone. That is where the prince lives.

I clenched my fists.
How could they?

Suddenly a girl popped up from the shadows. She had blonde hair tied in pigtails.
"Aye guys, took you long enough!" The girl said.
"MITSUBA?" The other three chimed.
"Mitsuba is in your team. Me, Shihō and Yoichi will try and free the children. You guys just kill the prince, okay?" Guren explains.
"Is this a new girl? Oh I know why you asked me on the mission! You don't think Shinoa is capable of finishing off the prince, am I right? And that girl" She points at me "You want me to teach and train her."
"I really don't think there is anything you can teach me." I replied with a laugh.
"What!?" Mitsuba turns around looking annoyed.
"Nothing." I laughed.
Guren shakes his head "I don't believe you two have met."
We both nod.
"Well, this is Mitsuba and that is Skye." He points at both of us.
"EHH?!? Sh- she's SKYE?" She looks surprised "The one who killed one of the vampire kings by herself? Skye the vampire slayer!"
Everyone stared at me with disbelief. Except Guren and Shinoa.
"I guess so..."
"Eh... Well I bet I could kill a vampire king if I got the chance!" She huffed.
She was pretty kawaii. I laugh.

"Anyway there is no time to waste." Yuichiro yawns.

I saw the vampire guards standing outside.
I take a few deep breaths. I'm a bit nervous. I have mostly always been fighting solo. I don't want my team mates to die on me again.
"Are you scared?" Yuichiro asked, he sounded kind.
"Eh? Yep of course! Why?" I quickly reply.
"Nothing. You just looked kinda nervous." He said quietly
"Oh."
We approached them. I showed him our invitations.

They allowed us in.
The room was so bright and beautiful that I had to shade my eyes.

Okay.
