I opened the door.
A familiar face popped up from the another side.
"Eh? Yuichiro?" I say losing my balance, I felt a pair of strong hands pulling me back.
His green eyes were so bright, our faces a few centimetres apart.
Red flashed immediately across my face as well as his.
We seemed to be staring at each other for what seemed like eternity. He smelt like citrus shampoo with a hint of sweat, I was strangely attractive to it.
It could of been just me but I saw his lips move like he was telling me something important but no sound came out. "Eh?"
"Oh ah its nothing!" He blushed harder and let go of me "Sorry, um so you can finally leave the hospital, huh?"
"Uh yeah," I replied "I was just about to go back to my room."
"I could escort you there." He offered.
I really didn't know what to say.
I've never let a boy inside my room...
Besides its kind of messy. Kind of? Okay it's super messy.
"Um... Sure, if you want."
baka baka baka baka why did I say that.
It was awkward silence.
I didn't know what to talk about.
"So um..." Yuichiro started.
"Yeah-" I muttered.
"Your room is quite far away isn't it?"
"I guess. I just don't like being seen and like I'm cursed and al-" I began.
"How many times do I have to tell you, you are not cursed!" He seemed a bit angry.
But that shouldn't bother me, I mean I don't care what he thinks.
We stayed silent until -
I stopped.
"What's wrong?" He asked. I'm still not sure whether he's still mad or not.
"We are here."
A boy is coming into my room for the first time.
Stay calm. Breath. It's alright. It's okay.
