Chapter 15 (Shocked)

Adam: How are you, Emma?
Emma didn't answer. She just stared at him without any reaction on her face. They all got up, and Andrew went next to Emma to check on her. Then he looked at Adam in shock. Emma couldn't take it anymore and saw darkness around her before falling. Andrew caught her in his arms before she hit the ground and knelt with her on the floor. He started tapping her face lightly.
Andrew: Emma! Emma, can you hear me? Emma?
Emma didn't answer, so Andrew carried her to his room. He turned to those who were standing while walking quickly towards the stairs.
Andrew: Call the doctor, or call Madlen. Tell them to come immediately!
Andrew said and left. Olivia called Madlen, while Noah and Sia approached Adam.

Sia: What the hell are you doing? Why are you always damaging people's lives? Don't you have any mercy, even for your daughter?
Adam: Does trying to restore my daughter is none of mercy, Sia?
Sia: Restore her? Did we kidnap her? Wasn't it your plan? Actually, something is coming to my mind now, but I'm scared to ask! Was the accident your plan to fake her death, Adam?
Adam: What are you saying, Sia? Do you think that I would put my daughter's and wife's lives in danger for my own good?
Sia didn't answer but laughed sarcastically and turned her face. Noah started talking.
Noah: Why didn't you even tell us that you were coming? Do you realize how difficult the situation is now?

Adam: I had to come, Noah! Believe me, my life is in danger the most.
Noah: What is this important thing that you put your life in danger for, Adam?
Adam looked at Danny, then turned to Noah again.
Adam: Can we confirm Emma's condition first, and then I'll tell you?
Noah looked at Sia, who was angry with Adam, and remained silent. Then they went to sit down. In Andrew's room, he gently put Emma on the bed and covered her. He started stroking her head. Despite his shock from Emma's father, his only concern now was Emma and her health. Olivia entered the room and sat with him.
Andrew: Did you call Madlen?
Olivia: Yes, she was nearby anyway. She's coming now.
Andrew nodded and returned to stroking Emma's head. After a while, Madlen arrived and checked Emma's blood pressure and other vitals.

Madlen: Her blood pressure has increased, but she's fine now! What happened, Andrew?
Andrew looked at Madlen and then pointed behind her. Madlen turned and saw Noah, Sia, and Adam, but she didn't know him.
Madlen: We must let her rest a little until she wakes up.
Andrew: Let's go downstairs then. We need to discuss things anyway. Mr. Adam!!
Adam: Okay!
They all went downstairs. Andrew looked at the sleeping Emma for the last time, then closed the door. After sitting down, Noah started talking.
Noah: Yes, Adam! We are waiting! What's the important thing that you came for?
Adam: Listen, I know it wasn't our plan, but I knew some things, and it relates to Andrew too.
Andrew looked at his father in shock when he said "our plan."

Andrew: Your plan? Did you know about this, Dad?
Sia: Yes, Andrew! We knew about it after Emma came here. He told us that Emma's life was in danger, so he sent her to us. He would hide and contact her from time to time until things got better. But since John's accident, the plan almost fell apart.
Adam: I came today because of John's accident. When you sent him to Turkey and I found him, I learned that he was one of the mafia members I used to work with. Of course, he wouldn't let go of Andrew for what he did to him, but the main reason I came was that he almost found out about the connection between me and Andrew. That means he might have known that Emma is my daughter and that she's still alive.
Sia: Why didn't you say that on the phone then?
Adam: Because I wanted to see Emma, and I found that it's dangerous in all cases. At least I could see my daughter.

Andrew: You should have thought about your daughter's mental health before doing this plan. You made her relive the pain of losing you and her mother, and then you suddenly appeared in front of her and said, "How are you?" What fantastic fatherhood!
Andrew said and got up to go to his room, leaving them sitting. Andrew entered the room and Emma was still sleeping. He stroked her hair and stayed beside her for a little while until he felt that she was fidgety in bed and started to wake up. He kept stroking her face until she opened her eyes and saw him.
Andrew: Are you okay?
Emma looked around her to find herself in Andrew's room.
Emma: Did you bring me here yesterday?
Andrew looked at her for a while, then she started talking again.
