Emma slowly opened her eyes and closed them again. She tried many times to withstand the light that hit her eyes. At first, she couldn't understand where she was or how she got there, but then the memories slowly came back to her. She remembered the accident but nothing after that. She only heard the nurses calling the doctor and telling him that she was awake. But wait a second! Were they speaking Turkish? Where was she? Was all of this a dream? Did she just wake up since her parents' accident? She couldn't find any answers to her questions until the doctor arrived. Emma tried to speak, but her throat was dry and scratchy. She croaked out a few words, and the nurses immediately brought her a cup of water. She took a few sips, feeling the cool liquid soothing her throat. As Emma drank, the doctor came to check on her.

Doctor: Hoş geldiniz! Uyanık olduğunuzu gördüğümüze çok sevindik.
(Welcome back, Emma! We are very glad to see that you are awake.)
Emma: Where am I?
The doctor pointed to a nurse to speak English with Emma.
Nurse: You're in Turkey. You've been here since you came from America 3 months ago. Unfortunately, you were in a coma. How are you feeling now?
Emma was shocked but she tried to continue speaking despite how hard it was.
Emma: Andrew? Where's Andrew?
Nurse: There was no one who came with you but Mr. Danny!
Emma's shock became even harder.
Emma: Where's Danny?
Nurse: He left a while ago to do some work and will come back soon.

Emma nodded and remained silent, but her mind was racing with questions. How did she end up here? Where was Andrew? What about her aunt and friends? And her father? Had he not come to see her even once? The doctors and nurses interrupted her thoughts by asking questions, taking her vitals, and running tests while reassuring her that she was doing well. After a few hours, Danny arrived. He came in immediately when he heard that she was awake and hugged her.
Danny: Emma! How are you, honey? How do you feel?
Emma pushed him away and spoke. Over the last few hours, Emma had gradually regained her strength and ability to speak.
Emma: Danny, what happened? How did I end up in Turkey? Where is Andrew? Does he know that I'm here?

Danny sat in the chair next to her and held her hand.
Danny: He knows, Emma.
Emma: Then why didn't he come? Did my dad prevent him?
Danny: No, Emma! Your dad didn't do anything. Actually...
Emma: Speak, Danny!
Danny: He said he doesn't want to see you again. I mean, after he found out about what you did.
Emma: You're lying! Andrew wouldn't do that! No, no, he can't leave me in this situation. It's impossible.
Danny: Emma...
Emma: Give me my phone! I'm sure it's with you! Give it to me!!
Danny took out her phone and gave it to her. She tried to call Andrew, but he was unavailable. She called Sia, Olivia, Madlen, Mark, even Peter and Noah, but they were all unavailable. She sadly put down her phone, and Danny hugged her as she started crying.

Three years later, Emma was sitting at a table with her friends, a cake with 21 candles in front of her.
Her friends: Happy birthday, Emma! We're so glad to be here celebrating with you.
Emma: Thank you so much, guys! I don't know what to say. Really, thank you so much.
Ayşe: Make a wish and blow out the candles.
Emma laughed, leaned toward the cake, closed her eyes, made a wish, and blew out the candles. She hugged all her friends and laughed. They all started talking together, and Emma looked at them smiling. She left the place without anyone noticing and went outside to get some fresh air. She found it was snowing, so she started talking to herself.
Emma: Why does this happen every year at this particular time? What do you want to tell me?
She closed her eyes slowly and felt the snow on her face, lost in thought.

Meanwhile, in New York, it was about 7 p.m. Andrew was sitting near the sea, watching the first snowfall of the year. He looked at the video on his phone that they took while dancing.
Andrew: Happy birthday, Emma! Wherever you are!
He closed his phone and started feeling the snow, remembering their dance.
The next day, at 9 a.m. in Istanbul, Emma went to her university. She was studying law, and it was her third year. She was working hard to become a successful lawyer. She met her friends and sat with them.
Emma: Good morning!
All: Good morning!
Ayşe: Are you ready for today's test?
Bekir: Of course she's ready! I'm sure Emma will be one of the ones who win this reward.
