CHAPTER FOURTEEN

"Maya, are you crazy?!" Riwon hit her on the shoulder. They're hiding behind the bushes while looking at the big house in front of them. It's Jungwon's house. Riwon never went to his house because he's always the one who came to her house first.

"What? You said you would do anything for him."

"But don't you think we should do it after school? My parents will kill me if they find out I skipped school!"

"Don't worry, I will handle that. First, we need to go through the gate— no, let's just climb the wall. I heard that Jungwon's parents are barely at home because of work, so don't worry about them. We need to find him in this house." Maya looked at Riwon and nodded.

They slowly approached the house, looking around before illegally entering Jungwon's house. "How are we going to enter this house?"

"Don't worry, Maya is always ready with this kind of thing." She pulled out a hairpin before trying to unlock the door.

She's watching too much drama. Can a hairpin unlock the door? And the door unlocked. Riwon was speechless. Her best friend is capable of anything.

They looked around the house and found no one. Both of them were shocked to see all the luxurious things inside the house. So, he's actually that rich?? No wonder he always spoiled Riwon without hesitating.

"I will wait here, go find your boyfriend."

"Thank you, Maya." Riwon went upstairs and saw three rooms.

She could feel the room in the middle was his room so she tried to see if it's locked and it's actually unlocked. Riwon was scared to enter. Is it okay to do this? She opened the door and saw a boy sitting at the study table with his head on the table. Riwon could feel her eyes become teary seeing her boyfriend looking so tired in his sleep.

She walked up to him and grabbed the blanket on his bed before putting it on him. Riwon caressed his hair, staring at his face. "You always did anything for me.. to the point it hurts yourself too. It made me wonder, do I deserve you? I don't want you to get hurt because of me but I'm more scared of losing you. Am I selfish?" Riwon wiped her tears when suddenly he wrapped his arms around her waist.

"You're not selfish.." Jungwon mumbled as he buried himself between the hug. "Am I dreaming? How can Riwon be here?"

"Jungwon.. why didn't you come back to school? I'm so scared that I might lose you." She cupped his face, looking straight into his eyes. His eyes look tired.

"I'm so sorry.. It's my fault. Sunghoon told me everything that happened in school when I'm not there.. I felt terrible because everything happened because of me. You're hurting because of me."

"Stop saying like that, Jungwon! We became a couple because we like each other, and also because we want each other to be happy. If my boyfriend is in pain, I should help him. I should do everything I can for him, I will go through this together with you." Riwon sat in front of him, holding his hands tightly. "I don't mind getting all that hate! As long as I have you by my side, it's nothing."

"I'm sorry for breaking our promise.. we should keep our relationship a secret but Junho just made me so mad.. if I didn't say you're my girlfriend.. this wouldn't happen to you."

"It's okay, Jungwon. It's okay.. I'm not mad." She hugged him.

"Erm.. you're telling me you unlocked the door using a hairpin?" Jungwon looked at Maya as she took a sip of hot chocolate, crossing her legs on the couch.

"Yeah, impressive right? This wouldn't happen if you come to school you bitc— mhmp!" She glared at Riwon when she covered her mouth.

"Oh hahaha.. sorry about that. I will go to school tomorrow. I will do everything I can." Jungwon looked at Riwon and she just smiled softly.

Riwon walked into the school but today she's with Jungwon. He's holding her hand, saying it's okay and to not be scared because he's here. Some students were glaring at them.

"Jungwon is too handsome for someone like her."

"Then, he's a loser too. He's dumb. How could he fall for someone like her?"

Jungwon just walked past them, trying to ignore even though deep inside he wished he could rip their mouth for saying something like that about his girlfriend. They're walking in front of a group of boys when one of them tried to throw an egg to Riwon. Jungwon hid Riwon behind him, and stepped forward to them.

"Try to throw it to us, and I will do the same to you but worse." He grabbed his shoulder, gripping it as the boy screamed in pain. "I-I'm sorry!"

They quickly ran away from there when Jungwon let him go. Riwon just watched how her boyfriend threatened them back. Jungwon turned around to look at the girls who just talked shit about them just now.

"Hey.. only an idiot would fall for you. It's no use to have a pretty face but a shitty mouth. My girlfriend is better than both of you. She's smart. That's so attractive. I like girls who take academics seriously. And not girls who only know how to talk shit about others. Such a turn off." He said before walking away with Riwon.

Riwon looked at her boyfriend, feeling so proud and happy when he said that. So Jungwon actually likes smart girls? Maybe being top 1 in school wasn't that bad! "Suddenly I'm curious about something.. what is your ideal type, Jungwon? If me.. my ideal type is Kim Seokjin from BTS! He's such a husband material~ he knows how to cook, take care of the members, caring, sweet, funny. I actually enjoyed his dad's jokes." Riwon said excitedly. As a big fan of them, once she talked about them, especially Kim Seokjin, she couldn't stop unless someone stop her.

"Do you know, Seokjin has broad shoulders, wait.. My boyfriend has broad shoulders too! No wonder it's so good to wrap my arms around you and get on your back. Seokjin is so handsome! How can a human be that perfect?" Riwon turned to look at Jungwon because he's been quiet all the time when she realized what she had done.

"So.. what is my ideal type, hm? My ideal type is you."

"Is it because I'm smart? What if I'm not?"

"I told you, my ideal type is you. Who cares if you're smart or not? You are you, Kim Riwon. I like you for being yourself when around me. Girls always tried so hard to make me like them back. The things they didn't realise, they all look fake. The personalities were fake. They tried to look perfect in my eyes. I don't like that. So, Riwon.. don't ever try to change just because of what others told you. You are living for yourself, not them. Be whatever you want. I like you for what you're being now."

Jungwon always knows how to melt my heart, huh? His words are always so sweet. "I thought you're mad because I talked about Kim Seokjin.. you got jealous pretty easily.."

"Me? Jealous? Hahaha, no, why should I? At the end of the day, you're still my girlfriend. You're mine." Jungwon smiled. Jealous? Me? Yes, I'm so fucking jealous! Kim Seokjin? Who's that? Is he that handsome, huh, so handsome till my girlfriend is so excited to talk about him? He can cook? So am I! I'm funny too! I can be Riwon's ideal type.

They walked together to the classroom.
