Part 27
***
"Let's see, let's see..." Clint mutters to himself as he scans over numerous tiny identical clear bottles. The only thing that even hinted at the fact they were different was the little white label that had the name of the contexts written out in all capital letters and the expiration dates under that.

"Naproxen... prednisone... meth-yl-predisolone sodium succina- ok not that." It would have been a lot easier if the bottles were in some kind of order. They seemed to be spread out randomly though, making it all the more frustrating to find what he was looking for.

"Leucovorin calcium, Ticlid, Synvisc, Juvisync, morphine- morphine!" He picked the tiny bottle up, examining it more closely. According to the expiration date, it was expired by a few months. But on a quick second check, he found one near it that had a date further out. Switching the bottles, he then went to get a sterile needle. Luckily those were much easier to find.

"Hang on, (y/n).. I'm on my way." He mutters, shoving all the supplies into a pocket on his suit and then taking off back down the halls to his lover.

He still couldn't believe it. It worked. Everything was finally right in the world, but yet it was so, so not right. His baby was back, quickly trying to redevelop in his wife's womb, his children were probably back on the farm with Laura, probably confused as to why their farm looked so different and why he and (y/n) weren't there, and with all those incredible things happening, here they were. Fighting Thanos' goons and trying to survive the fact their whole base was just blown up.

Just another day as an Avenger...

"NOO..."

Clint froze for a second, trying to figure out if he'd just heard a scream or if his ears were still ringing from earlier. He knew he was losing his hearing already, and the last two explosions hadn't helped either. Regardless on if he imagined it or not though, he didn't want to risk it actually being (y/n) in trouble. The image of her fighting for her and their baby's life triggered some kind of protector instinct in him, and he took off at full speed.

"(Y/n)!? Hang on, baby!" He calls back, hoping you'd shout something back to reassure him you were alive still. At least you had Nebula. That made him feel marginally better but something could have happened to her too.

"(Y/n)! Nebula! Are you gu- what the..."

He was not prepared for the scene before him. He'd envisioned Nebula fighting back Outriders, you scrambling to cover, possibly you shooting some. Instead what he saw was Nebula's gun pointing to your forehead. When he rounds the corner though, she snaps it up to aim at him instead.

"Stay back!" She yells at Clint, and you risk looking away from Nebula to look at him. Clint raises his sword immediately, fixating his faze on Nebula. He was prepared to fight and lay down his life if it meant getting you away from her.

"What the hell, Nebula?! Same team!" He shouts at her, holding his ground while he tries to think of a way out of this situation.

"Drop your weapons." She warns him, ignoring what he said.

"She's a past Nebula, Clint! She let Thanos through our time machine! She's going to take the stones to him! Stop her!" You hurriedly shout out. It was so dangerous to speak and get her attention again, but you couldn't let her get away with the gauntlet. Not after everything you have been through. Clint now takes notice that she's holding all the stones.
