Counting days as if they're calories
'Cause each one of them makes me feel heavy.
As I get older,
I put more weights on my shoulders
But I don't think I'm strong enough to lift them.
And here I am again,
Counting days as if they're exercises
But most of the times
I don't know how to do them
And I just improvise.
As I get older,
I try to run as fast as I can
But I'm just stuck on a treadmill.
And here I am again,
Counting days as if they're sheep
Hoping to never wake up and forever sleep.
