If I were a flower
You'd probably pick me
And hold me for hours.
You'd tear off my petals
And whisper "he loves me,
he loves me not" all over
And over again.
If I were a flower
You'd take away my power
By sweeping out all I ever been
And then you'd throw me away.
But if I were a flower
I'd rather stay where I am
Under the sun, a light shower
'Cause if I left with you
I know I'd never truly bloom.
