I often think about my life on earth
And if maybe I'd feel better somewhere else
'Cause being a human here is hard.
You always have to stay on guard
And play well with your cards
But all I ever wanted was to be free
To live a life of love and peace.
Still, I am glad I made it here
I am grateful for each day
Even those that made me cry
And even those that made me want to die.
'Cause, in the end, they made me wise.
Oh, and when I'll reach the last page of my story
I'll be happy to have gotten on this journey
'Cause I learnt all the lessons I attended
The moral of the story, I comprehended.
