I would like to thank you all for this accolade,
Thank you for naming me "Villain of the Year"
When all I did was taking some time off to heal.
And thank you for not recognising me anymore
'Cause I really hate who I was before.
I love being the villain in your story
While you cover yourselves in fake glory
And I can't wait for you to feel sorry
Just to pay you dust, when you'll feel the worry.
You have called me a thousands of names
And for that, I couldn't be more grateful
'Cause I learned that none of them were true.
Now, it appears, I am the villain of the year
Oh, now I'm the villain in your story
And I couldn't ask for something better.
One day, when you'll come back
And you'll ask for my forgiveness
Oh, to ignore you, I'll be glad
And only then you'll understand
That you were the villain in the story, instead.
