"Father?"

The young child walks up to his father, his eyes filled with wonder of the world as he walked alongside the man. There was no mother in the picture; this child was either motherless or was simply taken in by the father

Father: yes, child? Is there something that is bothering you?

Child: no, father! Is there something that is bothering YOU?

Father: bothering me?

The father was surprised, but then looked at his son. This answer was obvious; it was the most blatant thing on earth. Surely, this kid, as young as he was, would have known the conclusion to this pondering... innocence was truly bliss, wasn't it? He was too young to be thinking of why his father is bothered anyway, right?

Father: the problem...

Child: huh?

This world of cruel gods, those that take advantage of all life on earth, in other universes. Even kind deities were subjected to cast a bad hand at those who displease them, and humans. It is no wonder, why hatred and resentment grows amongst the world of man; be it humans envying the higher beings, or the gods watching humans tear apart the earth. The problem...

The Problem is Life

.....

Baldur screamed as a sting of yellow and red impacted him in the eyes, causing him to fall forward and tumble towards the Primordial threat. This pain wasn't going away, and it was eating at him internally in a manner of seconds. His frost went berserk as it attempted to cool his body to counteract the burning, but the searing of his eyeballs was still agonizing

Chaos: ... tsk tsk, that would have been my warning shot, but you REALLY want to feel something, don't you?~ My poor, sweet little godling...

Chaos's eyes blackened as around the pupils grew a mark of red and yellow, the color shifting randomly ever so suddenly into shades of other colors such as green and brown. He then slowly walked forward as he gently places his hands onto Baldur's cheeks, causing the god, who was thought to feel no pain, to meet Chaos eye to eye

Baldur: m-make it stop... I just want it to end... n-no more suffering, please...

Chaos said nothing, his mouth unwavering as his face was barren of emotion. Did he want to kill Baldur? Did he want this to happen at all? The Gods and Humans could only watch the conflict occur; neither side would stop the two deities... perhaps they couldn't, even if they were to try

Baldur grabs Chaos's arms as he didn't have the strength to try and pry away, his words giving away how he truly felt, as all he wanted was to withdraw from the torment his body was subjected to by a fraction of Chaos's power. Chaos's eyes then started to smoke, flames building up as a blinding flash of light was starting to escape from the sockets

Chaos: to gaze into one another's eyes... is truly the most intimate form of human contact~

Baldur screamed as he met his inescapable fate; the Flames of Chaos melted into his eyes and body as he was no longer in control of his own will. His arms let go of Chaos's, and his legs gave in on him. Yet, he couldn't fall to the ground, because Chaos refused to let him go. His internal liquids were evaporating out of his mouth, and he could no longer howl in agony. This pain... although he wished that he could feel again, he never wanted anything that would consist of a nightmare, such as right now. Once Chaos was done, he let go of Baldur as the latter fell to the floor, shattering into embers as they disappeared into thin air. Nothing was left to remember, except a tiny fragment that was consumed by Chaos before it can disappear
