Part thirty

Karma's POV

Me and Amy catch the school bus back to my house before snuggling up on the couch and putting House Hunters on Netflix before my parents barged in.

Molly: "Karma honey we're going out for dinner tonight"

Karma: "Okie dokie have fun"

Molly: "No sweetheart I mean the four of us are, it's your birthday tomorrow and you and Amy normally spend it together so, I thought that we should go out to eat today it being your 18th and all"

Karma: "Oh okay, where? Do I need to change?"

Molly: "Yes, you probably should sweetheart and you'll see when we get there"

Karma: "Okay then..."

I go to my room with Amy and change into a red dress and quickly curl my hair and reapply my makeup and convince Amy to wear a white dress and she insists on wearing heels too as I am and 'it's weird if we're the same height' I'm not complaining though she has killer legs especially in heels! She also quickly does her hair and make up and let me say for the record she was looking HOT!

Amy: "You look... Wow Karma"

Karma: "I was thinking the same about you hot stuff"

I walk over to her and kiss her gently before pulling away and looking into her gorgeous green eyes

Karma: "Seriously though Aims, you look beautiful"

Amy: "Thanks Karms"

Amy grabs her black leather jacket and puts it over her dress and it somehow made her look even hotter than before, I grab her hand as we walk downstairs to my waiting parents as my phone buzzes. I read the text from Shane

Shane: Hey Karma I forgot to give you your birthday present and I want you to open it on your birthday, any chance you could swing around and get it? x

Karma: Aww Shane you didn't have to get me anything! I'm going to dinner with my parents and Amy I could swing by after that with Amy? :D x

Shane: I'm going out in a bit any chance you could pick it up before? x

Karma: I'll ask my mom wait a min x

I walk into the kitchen to see my mom and dad who both look ready to go

Lucas: "Karma you look beautiful"

Karma: "Thanks dad, is there any chance that I could run into Shane's before dinner to pick up my present, he's out later and wants me to open it on my birthday?"

My mom looks at her watch before replying

Molly: "If we leave now then we should still make it to dinner in time"

Karma: "Thanks mom!"

We all get into the car and I text Shane to let him know that we were on our way.

We pull up outside Shane's and me and Amy run out to Shane's, I ring the bell and shortly afterwards he opens the door, that's when everyone jumps out all yelling 'SURPRISE!'. I actually fall backwards with shock but Amy catches me and steadies me on my feet, I look at her to see her grinning at me

Karma: "You knew?"

She nods at me and I slap her arm playfully before looking back to see that my mom and dad had driven off so I walk inside as Shane gives me a big hug. There must be about 50 people here.
