Hush Hush ~ A Karmy Fanfic

Part thirty four

Karma's POV

Amy drives us home and once we're in my house she grabs my hand and leads me through to the back yard. There are lantern chain lights set up in the trees and a huge pink fairytale style bouncy castle in the middle of the garden. I turn to Amy and beam at her

Amy: "I know you always wanted your prince charming and a castle and a fairytale ending but this is the best I could do, princess sarcasm and an inflatable bouncy castle"

Karma: "It's perfect Amy"

Amy: "Well then I'll race ya!"

And with that she takes off running towards the castle, luckily for me it wasn't far away as I could have never kept up with Amy long distance but I catch up with her and tackle her onto the bouncy castle. We chase each other around on it and goof about for a while before I collapse onto it in exhaustion. Amy pulls a little cord which brings the roof of it down so that we could see the stars and plonks herself down next to me. I rest my head on her chest as I try to make my breathing return to normal

Karma: "Look at all those stars"

Amy: "They're beautiful aren't they?"

Karma: "Yeah do you know what else is beautiful"

Amy: "What?"

Karma: "You"

I roll over so that I am facing her to see her blushing ever so slightly, I crawl up so that I can kiss her before pulling away

Karma: "Amy today has been awesome thank you"

Amy: "Any time Karms it wasn't as perfect as I would have wanted but-"

Karma: "What? It has been perfect"

Amy: "No it hasn't there was that thing at laser tag and-"

I cut her off by kissing her passionately, after a couple of minutes of this I lean back and kiss her sweetly on the nose

Karma: "Today has been perfect"

Amy: "So don't you want your present?"

Karma: "You know I'm always a slut for presents!"

She laughs before getting the basket with my presents in and handing them to me the first thing I pull out is a little white box with a blue ribbon on it. I open it and see that it is two necklaces, one is a sun and the other a moon, it immediately reminds me of the song I wrote for her after we had a huge argument. To be honest it was totally my fault and I needed to show her just how sorry I was anyway a bit of it went like this:

Cause you're the salt to my pepper
You're the moon to my sun
We're like Batman & Robin when we're out having fun
And we're gonna be together until we're old and grey

Anyway they moon has the words you're the moon and the sun necklace has the words to my sun engraved onto it. I pick up the sun necklace to see that it has our names engraved on the back in a love heart and the date 29/08/00 on it, the date that we met. I look over at Amy who is looking at me nervously as if she is unsure as to whether or not I would like it. I crawl over to her and sit in her lap and give her a quick kiss before asking her to put the necklace on me and I put hers on her.

Karma: "I love it babe"

I pick out three glass jars and look at Amy before looking back at the jars.

Amy: "Open it and read one"

I pick the jar closest to me and open the jar and pick out one of the many slips of paper in there. I read it outloud, it said Summer 2012 - We were feeding the ducks and you fell into the pond and I jumped in after you because you couldn't swim but the pond was only neck deep and we got into a splashing contest.
