4:35 PM

It was such a pity that it was already raining so hard outside when Suo'er woke up, therefore all of the things Yibo planned for today was all for nothing.
Since they now have no choice but to patiently stay indoors, the both of them just spent the whole day assembling a 1000 pieces lego set.

"Baba, It already stopped raining. Let's buy ice cream." Suo'er has been staring outside the window for quite a long time now, waiting for the rain to stop.

"We can't, it's still slippery outside." Yibo replied in a soft voice, still busying himself with the lego set. "Plus it just stopped raining, you'd catch a cold if you eat ice cream in such a cold weather."

And it still ended up with Yibo losing to the charm of the five year old so now they are sitting inside an ice cream parlor 1 street away from the house hand in hand.

"Baba, I know you aren't really the one who gave birth to me." Suo'er suddenly spoke with his little voice.

This left Yibo a bit startled. "Baby..."

The younger interrupted him before he could even talk further, "I'm not mad at you and papa. He likes you a lot, so I hope we can get closer to each other." Suo'er was saying such words while eating his ice cream like an innocent boy. "I know papa is always secretly sad whenever he thinks about my mama so I thought that I could pretend with him for a little just to get him distracted. But he really does look happier now and seeing him happy makes me happy."

He knew from the start that a kid couldn't be so innocent, Suo'er is such a clever and heartwarming kid. He's really glad he gets to meet him and Xiao Zhan who brought a lot of realizations in his life.

Now that the situation was clearer to him, he couldn't help himself from further falling in love with this father and son duo.

Who says that kids are de-attached from the world?! They're the only ones who genuinely care for people they love, they are more humane than most adults are!!

"I won't make your papa sad again, okay? We'll take care of him together from now on." Yibo's eyes were already kind of droopy, but he tried so hard to suppress the tears that was about to come out.

Suo'er only responded with a nod, finishing the last bit of his mint chocolate ice cream.

"Let's go the grocery store to buy food, I'll cook you and your papa some delicious food today!"

"I want chicken cola wings."

"Okay, no problem."

When Xiao Zhan came home, the lights inside the house was quite dim and the hallways are quiet, so he assumed that Yibo has already gone home and that Suo'er is far asleep. So when a figure suddenly back hugged him, he almost jumped in surprise.

"Good evening." The voice said.

"You scared me." Xiao Zhan breathed a sigh of relief. "It's already late, why are you still here?" He said, facing Yibo to return the hug.

"I want to sleep here." Yibo said in a childish voice, hugging him tighter. This was the first time that Xiao Zhan smelled Yibo's scent so strongly since he always used scent blockers before.

"You forgot to wear your scent blocker today." Xiao Zhan continued to sniff his scent as if cherishing the moment. Anyway it's not everyday that he gets to smell the omega and hug him this close.

"No. I purposely took it off." Said Yibo. They were at an eye to eye level at moment, both staring at each other lovingly in silence until Yibo leaned forward to give Xiao Zhan a peck on the lips.

Xiao Zhan was taken aback and wasn't able to react, making Yibo chuckle softly. "Change your clothes, I cooked food for the three of us." He once again gave the elder a peck on the cheek before going.

Meanwhile Xiao Zhan, still not able to process the situation : What the fuck? Am I drunk??

When Xiao Zhan has finally realized what just happened, Yibo has already long gone to the kitchen.

When dinner finished, Xiao Zhan stayed restless outside of Suo'er's room while waiting for Yibo to go out, going around in circles continuously.

Although he really did not expect Yibo to initiate the first move and wanted to talk to him about it, he didn't know what to say!!! There was never a time in his life that he's gone through this type of emotional crisis, so his mind was practically in chaos.

He was married before yes, but it's been so long that he had long forgotten how it's like to be in love! So now, as if he was in his teenage years again, couldn't help but acting like a boy being in love for the first time.

Waiting for the younger felt like an eternity, so after finally seeing Yibo's figure out of his son's room, he couldn't help but feel a bit relieved.

While he was still fighting with his brain about how to start a conversation, Yibo was silently watching him with a smile. "You look so stiff right now ah President Xiao."

Xiao Zhan—like his usual self fixed his expression right after hearing this, tidying up his pajamas for a bit. "Is this better?"

"A lot better." Yibo gave him a light nod, still smiling from ear to ear. "I never saw you this shy before."

"I never saw myself this before shy either... or at least my memory tells me so." Xiao Zhan returned the joke with the same humor.

Yibo laughed, engulfing him on a tight hug. "Gege, would you like to date me?"

"Is that even a question??"
