"C'mon, just how little do you know? You're missing out on so many things!" I exclaimed, watching the red echidna tilt his head. "I am quite content with life as is" He questioned, unsure by my odd behaviour. "You're missing out! You can't only eat grapes!" I continued. He thought for a moment, looking at his soon to be empty bowl. "But I like grapes?" He questioned.
I sighed, sitting beside him. "There's so much more to enjoy Knux, you know?" I added, leaning against him. "Plus, I want our dates to be better. All they've been are little picnics and hikes... Without anything... Date like." I huffed. "Date like?" He asked, setting the bowl down. "Yeah! Like... Kisses!" I started, noticing his thoughts starting to bloom. "We can do that." He nodded, cupping my cheeks. "Ah wait I mean-" He quickly cut me off, pressing our lips together roughly. Whining until he pulled away. "Gentle." I huffed. "But I was?" He questioned once more. I sighed, gently holding his muzzle as I pulled him into a much softer sweeter kiss. I wasn't surprised at the taste of grape on his lips, but I was surprised when his hands rested gently on my waist. Holding the kiss as long as we could. "Ah... That's what you mean..." I muttered, pressing his nose against mine. "Like it?" I asked, grinning dorkishly. "I love it." He hummed.
