Chapter 20: Rest

Y/n's pov:

I woke up in my bed, the comfy sheets holding me down. I was almost tempted to just fall back asleep-

XD was in the chair across from me.

"Holy shit-" I sprang up from my bed only to feel a sharp sting of pain corse through my whole body. Resulting me to almost falling to the floor if XD didn't catch me. "ℂ𝕒𝕣𝕖𝕗𝕦𝕝! 𝕐𝕠𝕦 𝕒𝕣𝕟'𝕥 𝕗𝕦𝕝𝕝𝕪 𝕙𝕖𝕒𝕝𝕖𝕕 𝕪𝕖𝕥." He said as he placed me back in bed. "Oh WhY dOeS iT hUrT sO bAdDdD..." I grumbled in some unknown language. He simply laughed as he tucked in the sheets. "𝔻𝕠 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕣𝕖𝕞𝕖𝕞𝕓𝕖𝕣 𝕒𝕟𝕪𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕒𝕓𝕠𝕦𝕥 𝕝𝕒𝕤𝕥 𝕟𝕚𝕘𝕙𝕥?" I thought back to what happened... "well... Dream attempted to kidnapped me, probably why I have these wounds, you got shot in the hea-"

We kissed.

My face went bright read as I realized what happened. "And.. and we-"

"𝕐𝕖𝕡. 𝕀 𝕕𝕚𝕕𝕟'𝕥 𝕣𝕖𝕒𝕝𝕝𝕪 𝕘𝕖𝕥 𝕥𝕠 𝕗𝕚𝕟𝕚𝕤𝕙 𝕞𝕪 𝕔𝕠𝕟𝕗𝕖𝕤𝕤𝕚𝕠𝕟 𝕤𝕠... 𝕀'𝕞 𝕛𝕦𝕤𝕥 𝕘𝕠𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕥𝕠 𝕘𝕖𝕥 𝕚𝕥 𝕠𝕧𝕖𝕣 𝕨𝕚𝕥𝕙." He looked at me, his mask reflecting in the morning sun. "𝕐/𝕟.. 𝕀 𝕝𝕠𝕧𝕖 𝕪𝕠𝕦, 𝕀 𝕙𝕒𝕧𝕖 𝕝𝕠𝕧𝕖𝕕 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕗𝕠𝕣 𝕒𝕨𝕙𝕚𝕝𝕖 𝕟𝕠𝕨 𝕒𝕟𝕕 𝕀 𝕨𝕒𝕤𝕟'𝕥 𝕡𝕝𝕒𝕟𝕟𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕠𝕟 𝕥𝕖𝕝𝕝𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕪𝕠𝕦-" I leaned from my bed and kissed him. "I love you too." I giggled. I couldn't see his face but he was dead silent, a look of awe from the part of his face that I could see.

"𝔻-𝕕𝕠 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕨𝕒𝕟𝕥 𝕒𝕟𝕪𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕟𝕘 𝕥𝕠 𝕖𝕒𝕥?" He asked. "A piece of toast sounds pretty good!" I smirked "ℝ𝕚𝕘𝕙𝕥 𝕒𝕨𝕒𝕪!" He bolted out of the room, laughing maniacally. My charm is irresistible, even for gods. Two seconds later, there was another knock on my door and to my surprise, was Wilbur!

"Oh hey! Sorry about the scare last night." I said  as he walked in. "Don't worry about it. Y/n, did you do something to that god guy? He looked extremely psychotic downstairs..." he asked. "Oh, I kissed him."

His face was unreadable.

"Oh." Was all he said before he turned like a robot and left my room.

Another second passed by and XD came back with toast. "ℍ𝕖𝕣𝕖 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕘𝕠~" He grinned as he gave me a plate with toast on it. I smiled "thank you! It's perfect." He watched me as I ate. Kinda creepy but it takes a lot for me to judge someone. "𝕐/𝕟?"

I looked up to see him with his head sitting on his hand. "Yeah?" "𝕎𝕙𝕪 𝕕𝕠 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕤𝕥𝕒𝕪 𝕙𝕖𝕣𝕖?" I gave him a confused look. "What do you mean? Like, staying at L'Manburg?" "𝕌𝕙𝕞... 𝕪𝕖𝕒𝕙."

"Well, i'm not exactly going to stand around and watch the innocent get beaten up by Dream. Someone has to stick around to help out. Plus, i'm kind of on board with the whole separate country idea. The more power Dream has, the worse the situation is." I explained, placing the plate on the dark oak nightstand next to me.

He nodded in understanding. "𝔻𝕠 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕤𝕦𝕡𝕡𝕠𝕣𝕥 𝕨𝕒𝕣?" I laughed at that sentence. "Of corse not! I'm hoping this is the only war that there will be!"  I said, hopefully.

"ℍ𝕒𝕧𝕖 𝕪𝕠𝕦 𝕖𝕧𝕖𝕣 𝕨𝕒𝕟𝕥𝕖𝕕 𝕥𝕠 𝕝𝕖𝕒𝕧𝕖 𝕥𝕙𝕚𝕤 𝕨𝕠𝕣𝕝𝕕?"

I stopped dead. Did he think I was fucking suicidal?! I gave him a death stare, "I don't see why you even think that." I let out a sigh of frustration and got back out of bed. "𝕐𝕠𝕦 𝕒𝕣𝕟'𝕥 𝕗𝕦𝕝𝕝𝕪 𝕙𝕖𝕒𝕝𝕖𝕕-" "I'm fine." I rolled my eyes as I went downstairs, leaving him in my room.

XD's Pov:

Did I say something wrong? I scratched the back of my head, thinking about our conversation. I didn't say anything wrong from what I was thinking. Maybe I should go visit Kristen, she knows more about this topic then me...

I just realized that I missed the whole eggpire thing from DSMP. Time to rewatch the lore y'all. ☺️👍🏻
