Chapter 44: Wilbur sprawls into insanity

Wilburs pov:

My hands were in my hair as I sat outside Pogtopia. I have been betrayed so many times.. I smiled and laughed a little. How can I let this slide, when some... Some dictator comes into the country I so rightfully earn and tear it into shreds. L'manberg was supposed to be a safe place, a safe place for Y/n, her in the mansion I would have built, in my arms. She was mine from the second I met her. I clenched my fists, DreamXD is just an abuser, he doesn't deserve her, he's a god. "Till death do us part"

That is the sentence that popped into my mind. But death was not the end and I knew it.. I frowned again, I would need to get rid of L'manberg though. If I can't have it, no one, NO ONE CAN HAVE IT. I could feel my eyes widen in glee, And not even that green bitch can have her, nor can Dream, or even my brothers can have her. My mind pictured her, her h/l h/c spread out on my chest as she slept in my grasp. Her soft skin pressed against mine, her head resting on me. I smiled, that is my goal, it's a goal that I will achieve. I swear, I will burn down the heavens and the earth for her. I rubbed my eye patch, I still cannot believe I lost my eye. I look badass but.. I can't admire her like I used to...

"Wilbur?"

I looked up weary, it sounded almost like the voice of an angel. I saw Y/n crouching down and feeling my forehead. "Your head is warm, I'll go get you an ice pack." No, I can't let her go yet, I grabbed her arm and pulled her down. She landed in my lap and I wrapped my arms around her. 'Wil- what are you doing?" I dug my head into her shoulder. "Can we just stay like this for a moment?" I pleaded. She hesitated for a second before loosening herself and giving into me. "Do you want to talk about it?" She asked, I shook my head, she should never have to know the things that go on in my head. Those next few moments were probably the best thing in my life. Holding her, knowing that I could protect her from this world, It was perfect. "Can I please go grab you an ice pack now, your headache probably got worse. I sighed and released her, my heart felt like it got stabbed the second she turned the corner. I felt a pair of eyes on me and I turned around to see Tommy looking at me mischievously. He didn't say anything but just grinned at me.

He nodded and walked away, humming a pleasant tune. He probably saw and heard the whole thing. I sighed and looked at the place where her body just was. I missed her already, I need to end L'manberg.
