Entry 7
I've been practicing, but I feel as if I am getting worse. Everybody is hard on me. Is that a good thing? Maybe it is because our first tournament is in a week...
I am going to die if I don't have a tournament. I almost cried when I was at a baseball tournament. I saw all the guys pitching, catching, batting, stealing, winning, losing. I miss all of that. Yes, I miss the defeats. I miss the wins, the screams of victory, the pain you get when sliding wrong. I want to slide for real, in a game. I haven't played a game in months. So, yes, I almost cried watching the guys play.
My parents think I am losing my passion for softball...I tell them otherwise, but they still think that.
I am on two teams now. High Plains aand Thunder. The only days I have off is...maybe Wednesdays. My schedule?
Monday-Pitching lessons
Tuesday-High Plains
Wednesday-Batting practice
Thurseday-High Plains, batting lessons
Friday-Thunder
Saterday-Games
Sunday-Games
I have dedicated my life to softball...Why can't they just see that?
