chapter 4: prelude to a duel between Hiroshi and silica!!!

Natsuki POV:

Me, Hiroshi, and this new girl silica were walking to the plains to start helping her level up. Meanwhile I was thinking about this girl and Hiroshi and was wondering why Hiroshi is having her join us as mercenaries. I than thought back to the times we were in school and remember that Hiroshi lacked social skills and no one would talk to him even girls. So maybe he found silica interesting and wanted to learn more about her? As I was thinking I noticed we we're almost to the plains. I wispered to Hiroshi "make sure you don't act sadistic or at least tone it down a bit when killing a monster, so you don't scare her off." He nodded towards me. I than asked him another question "so what made you want to help her in exchange for having her help us as mercenaries." He than told me with an unsure expression "I'm honestly not sure why but I do find myself interested in her not sure why but she's the first girl that I find interesting and want to learn more about." I was shocked and excited because this is the first time my brother has an interest in somebody and it's just out of curiosity not out of torturing them or anything like that I am so happy and shall support him as best as possible maybe they'll both develop feelings for each other and they'll end up together I was getting lost in my fantasy of them ending up together until Hiroshi coughed getting my attention and said to me and silica "we're here and in this area of the plains there are both frenzy boars and dire wolfs but unless they changed stuff from the beta the boars should be the weakest monsters than the dire wolfs are next weakest so we should start out with having you silica fight some frenzy boars and work our way up from there." Silica than asked us while stuttering less "s-s-so Hiro and hope what are y-y-your levels mine is only level 10." I told her my level "my level is 35" than Hiroshi told her his level "my level is 45." She was shocked and asked us "how are you guys so high leveled." Hiroshi answered for us and told her "it's mainly cause of our job as mercenaries we've killed so many low level and high level monsters since the launch of the game that we've leveled us this much we even got a total of 10 million cole." Silica was shocked a
Again and than I thought of an idea to make them closer I than told them both "hey I got an idea why don't you Hiro help silica and teach her some of our moves and while your doing that I'll practice grinding level's on my own." I than winked at Hiroshi and ran off before he can respond and question me sorry Hiroshi but this is my way of helping you.

Hiroshi POV:

I watched as natsuki ran off for some reason after giving me a wink and saw that silica was just as confused. Than the reality of the situation dawned on me I'm alone with a girl who I just met and haven't spoken to any other girls besides my sister in all my life. I didnt know what to do. So I did the only thing I know I was supposed to do and that was to start teaching silica some moves and how to quickly take out a monster. I than thought about something and asked silica "so how does your pet dragon Pina work. Do you like attack with her or use her to attack for you or do you do both attack with a weapon and attack with her." Silica than responded to me while petting Pina "I use a dagger but Pina can help me by buffing me and using her ice breath attack and attacking monster's." I nodded and was glad that she used daggers. That'll make teaching her easier I than told her "so first thing imma teach you is how to analyze your enemy wether it be monsters or players." She nodded and kept paying attention and listening "okay so for analyzing a monster you gotta first find it's weak points for boars it's the back of their heads. So basically just look for the most guarded spot or a place that you would think would instantly kill something. Now a human is a bit more tricky because they are unpredictable creatures they also have more thinking capabilities than a monster does so what I would suggest since your so small and you use a dagger if your ever face to face with a human you can go for their legs and immobilize them and than go in for the kill now you must remember that if you do kill a player in the game than your cursor above your head will turn orange. Same thing happens if you steal from a player or harm a player outside of a duel. Still with me." Silica nodded and I than had an idea for her "to start out let's have you duel me in a match to do this just add me as a friend and than click on my username and click challenge player." Silica was shocked and asked me while stuttering again "w-w-wwait why d-d-do I have to duel you a-a-and besides I'm not that strong." I laughed and told silica "there's only one way to improve yourself and that's through being right there in the experience. So show me what you got." I said with a sadistic smile.

Okay guys I know cliffhangers suck but I wanted dto cut it here because I wanted to get this chapter as soon as possible so yeah I hope you all enjoy and I'll try to get the chapter out before next week with that have a good night/day wherever you are.
