Chapter 8: Crimson's Promise

Melia passed out on my arms. It was a little cruel of me to put another spell on her but this time it's for the best. I couldn't control myself I tried but I couldn't. I was pissed the fuck off when she told me another man was to be married to her. I didn't like that one bit. So I marked her to remind her she mine and mine alone. I get too into it and almost did something without her consent. So I stop, last thing I expected was the princess not being able to sleep because of it. I helped her fall asleep last night. When she passed out from the flick I grabbed and brought her to my room the one she staying in at the moment. She was so peaceful sleeping.

When she corner me today I thought she was gonna snap, but she just wanted to know what I did to her. Granted I didn't think she would seriously respond to my tease. Which was why I was about to leave the room. To my surprise she wanted me to. Her getting hot and bothered from a kiss was so cute. I loved her I always did from moment I first met her. Thinking about it now it been better if she never crossed paths with me.

10 years ago....

There was a crying child that lost her friend that was the first time I met the Princess. The next day I was walking around the streets and I see a little girl same one from yesterday popped her head out.

"Hey I see you kid come out." I said to the young princess

"Its Melia say my name." The princess says pouting

"Haha how about I go with princess as a compromise." I smile teasing her

"Yeah okay mister but what's your name." She asks

"I'll tell you once you and answer my question why are you out here." I asked her

"Well I was looking for you and I finally found you." She says smiling

I was shocked by her answer she was looking for me what for, I was bit happy but knew I shouldn't get involved with her any further. The least I can do was tell her my name. " Crimson. That's my name." I say to her

"That suck a cool name." She said with her eyes widened

I heard noise in coming this way it was Kazuma's annoying ass coming here. What the hell do he want. It be bad news if he was to see the Princess here next to me. Without hesitation I grab Melia's small hand and hide her behind some boxes she was small enough to hide and no one would see her. "Stay here and keep quiet. Don't let anyone see you." I said to her she nodded

"Crimson there you are was looking for what you doing out here." Kazuma asked

"I was going for a walk do you got a issue with me doing what I want ?" I asked in a cold tone

"No not really just wanted to let you know about the meeting later today and make sure that you will be attending." Kazuma says inching closer to where the princess was hiding

"Yeah I'll be there. You didn't have to came all the way here to tell me in person." I say trying to get him away from the boxes

"Right. Guess I see you there and try not to get caught up with babysitting." Kazuma says as he leaves

That damn that asshole, I never liked him. He didn't do anything but it be safe if she forgets about me. "Hey princess." I say to her

"Yes Crimson." She says poking her body out from her hiding spot

"I promise to always keep you safe." I say to her

After making that promise I started to sing a song one that's powerful enough to not only put a angel to sleep but also for them to forget meeting the angel singing it. She passed out and I carried her in my arms to the castle and dropped her off where she can be found quickly.
