The Huntress

After making sure to give Aber and aloandra a long lecture about Aber shouldn't follow random people's voices and aloandra telling the others about the things just like what happen before going her way and get themselves in trouble..3 days after , they are again camping somewhere in the wilderness after a day of traveling

Haruna examined the sword aber got from the old man "hmmm...this sword is amazing, not only that it was masterfully forge..fusing it with the user's magic will make its as strong as an hero weapon is used right" haruna has been living with the dwarves for quiet some time already before she joined the group and she learn some of their examining techniques

"Why would be a sword of that caliber hiding in there? Also just like what aber said..it was guarded by an old man" luth spoke while looking at the sword

"Tho I can see the properties of this weapon...I couldn't read this" haruna points out the inscribed  words on the sword's blade "at first I thought it was just some random rune but.. it's not, I recognize it as something dwarven but the letters used is so old I can't understand it"

"Maybe I can translate it? I've also been learning language while training" kurumi walks forward    "let me see..."

It took her quiet some time to translate the words "the only thing I can read is the word king... "

"King?" Luth asked "don't tell me this sword is forge for some ancient king?"

"We don't know...but I'll try to translate more" she took a pen and paper and start copying the inscribing

Aber walk towards branwen and bow " thanks you...I didn't get to thank you as I was knockout cold"

"It's fine kid,but please ..next time, if your going in an adventure, tell us, this world is dangerous "

"Yeah..I'll keep that in mind"

"But gotta say, you two did a pretty good job fighting that basilisk..I'm sure even Luth is in impressed"

"Really?"

"Yeah, he is mentoring you and Aloandra right? I'm pretty sure, even if he's a lil mad about what happen, hes proud on how strong you became..rest assured"

"Thanks for the compliment Sir"

"Bran ..just call me Bran kid"

Aber after doesn't want to bother the dark elf further so he left him alone for now...while thinking on what to do..he would see aloandra carrying fire wood with felyna

Seeing this Aber rushes towards the two "why are you crying so many firewoods? You shouldn't rest you know"

"Oh..don't worry about me aber, I can handle this"

"No, just let me help with some of those " aber took half of the firewood from aloandra

Aloandra smiled "thanks"

Meanwhile felyna stared at the two youngsters "it's so fun to be young nya..."

"Did you say something miss felyna?" Ask Aber

"Nyathing~" the cat beastwoman walk towards where they will make the campfire

The night came and everyone is gathered around the bonfire eating, luth would put his plate in the ground and stands up "please excuse me...I need to go an pee" he then walks towards the woods nearby.

After he pee he was gonna return to the bonfire when he felt something behind him, with quick reflexes he dodges an arrow by an inch..it almost hit her in the head..and now the arrow is stuck on the tree

Looking at the arrow and to the direction where it was fired luth would saw an elf dress like a ranger, with leader clothing, a bow, and a single sword on her hip she would fire off another arrow but this time luth pulled Iciel and deflect the arrow to the right.

He was too preoccupied with the one shooting at him that he didn't notice one charging at him at time, this one looks human..but also wearing the same ranger like clothing. The woman attacks her with double short sword which he dodges and blocked..she was skilled..she made luth back up and pushed away from the woods

"Everyone! On your guard!" He screamed alerting the others from the attack

The swordswoman charges at luth, he readied himself from her attack but she suddenly duck.. in a split moment he would see a an arrow flying towards him..good thing he manage to make an ice wall in time before it hits him right in the face

He would make the ice wall explode to distract the enemy with it's shards before launching himself near his friends

"What did you do this time?"kurumi ask

"I don't know... I was just suddenly attacked by them-" suddenly they understand that they are in a bad situation...they are surrounded by the enemy about 20 them... They are wearing invisibility cloak to hide themselves from them

"Elves...humans...and other races..wow, well isn't this a crowd?" Bran sarcastically commented

"And all of them are women" haruna added

Before the battle can resume a voice of a woman echoes through the fields as she shouted "halt! Everyone lower your weapons!"

Then she revealed herself, a elf woman with blonde hair and green eyes, her clothing  is shimmering when the moon beam hits it

"I've been expecting you and your friends, Luth Kincade.."

"You know us?" He ask

"Of course, the creator told me about you..let me introduce my self " she put her hand on top of her chest "I am Artemis the lady of the hunt"

"Artemis? The goddess Artemis?"

"Yes, and I can see that you wield the frost blade Iciel..that's quiet the surprised "

Luth then remembers when iciel spoke about her and Artemis being friends

"Everyone...put your weapons away, we are safe" luth ordered..the other look at each other and put their weapons away

"Sorry for the harsh greetings, I just wanted to test you and your group..and it seems you lot have much to learn, but please, follow me"

And so..the group pack their things, with the help of the huntresses and they followed her, into the woods
