You were running.

You didn't quite know where but you knew you had to keep going. You glided slightly as your converse connected with the slick pavement. The rain gently poured down on you as you ran. The moon illuminated the glistening puddles that rippled as you passed them.

"Almost.." you breathed quietly as you pushed yourself into the door before you slamming it behind you

"I'm safe" you huffed looking up wiping the blood from your nose and holding your sleeve to it to control the bleeding.

You were met with a vibrant play area the dimness of the lights made the colors look desaturated.

It was weird.

"Where am I...?" You asked aloud looking around

You looked around walking forward hesitantly letting your gaze wonder for any signs of life. When you assessed that you were all alone you crept over the small bridge and made your way onto the soft mat floors. You made your way over the bridge slowly the boards creaking slightly as you walked over them.

"My head hurts" you muttered as you stepped onto the open play area.

You looked around the colors following your gaze everywhere you went. You made sure you saw no one in sight before you slipped into one of the play tubes and hugged your knees to your chest. You rested your forehead on your knees as the blood trickled from your nose into your lap. You were so exhausted you didn't care that the blood was ruining your already tattered shorts.

"I'm so tired of this" you mumbled your eyes burning as you blinked away tears

Just as your eyes fluttered closed you hear a tap on the tube you were in. You opened you eyes and pulled your head up looking out the other end of the tube.

"Please excuse me, I didn't mean to frighten you I just wanted to ask what it is that you are tired of?" The voice asked a heavy British accent hanging from his words

"....." you stayed silent putting your head back to your knees

"....I'm sorry that was quite impolite of me, if you would like to talk about another subject I would be most interested" he said quietly

".....are you on top of of the tube?" You asked quietly as you did not see him when you looked up

"...I am indeed" he replied

"Why?" You asked bringing your head up and resting your chin on your knees

"Well I wanted to talk to you....but I didn't want you to be frightened....." he said hesitantly

"......hm, your quite kind..." you say dryly "I'm curious...can I see what you look like" you asked quietly

"....I suppose so..." he said with a small sigh
