Izaiah's POV:

I was walking to the academy when I saw Issei walking with Rias.

Izaiah: morning Rias, Issei.

Rias: morning.

Issei: wait is this the guy who walks around dressed in a cloak?

Izaiah: yes I am.

Issei: well I guess good morning to you to.

We walked to the academy as we parted from Issei. We walked to our class as Akeno once again wrapped her arms around my neck.

Akeno: I was waiting for you to show you up.

Izaiah: Seriously Akeno.

Akeno: you have peaked my interests more than the new guy, there is something about you that I can't seem to ignore.

Izaiah: okay

Rias: can we just get to class.

Rias seemed a bit jealous of Akeno being close to me. We got to class so we could get the day over.

-lunch-

During lunch I was chilling under a tree eating my bento lunch as Rias and Akeno showed up.

Izaiah: Rias, Akeno what's up?

Rias: I wanted to inform you that you'll pick Issei up and bring him to our meeting.

Izaiah: okay, anything else?

Rias: about the thing you asked me.

Izaiah: yeah?

Rias: Akeno will you excuse us.

Akeno: sure thing.

Akeno left me and Rias to talk. Rias sat down next to me with a look of seriousness and sadness.

Rias: I'm engaged to marry a man I don't want to merry.

She wrapped her arms around her her legs and a tear formed.

Izaiah: who is this person?

Rias: his name is Riser and he is a jerk to non-nobles.

Izaiah: and your being forced to marry this prick.

Rias: yeah...

Izaiah: I call dibs on kicking his butt  if we have to fight for your freedom. No one should be forced to marry someone they don't love.

Rias: Izaiah...

Izaiah: your choice of love is yours and yours alone no one else's to decide.

Rias stood up next me and looked at me.

Izaiah: hm?

Rias: thank you

She smiled at me with tear going down her cheeks. I stood up in front of her.

Izaiah: it's nothing.

Rias: it time to return to classes.

Izaiah: yeah.

We headed back to classes to resume lessons for the day.

I went to retrieve Issei as Rias Requested. I entered Issei's class room to get him.

Girl 1: what's he doing here.

Girl 2: I don't know.

Izaiah: Issei Hyoudou my clubs president asked for you.

Girl 3: care full you might catch his pervertedness!

Izaiah: I'll be fine.

I escorted Issei to the occult research club at the old school house. We entered the meeting room to be greeted by the other members.
