Soon- Huson reader

Reader is Slash's daughter and its set in the 90s.

Filming was stressful especially with a live audience, even more stressful when you mess up.

I'd been upset because I hadn't seen my dad which was just adding to my stress. It was short phone calls before I had to work and before he had to go on stage.

"Alright, sweetheart. I'll see you soon, I promise." He said on the other side of the phone.

"Bye, dad." I whispered sadly.

"I love you." He told me.

"Love you." I mumbled.

'I'll see you soon'

Is what he said everytime we got off the phone but it's been a month.

"Y\N, we need you on set!" A director yelled.

"Coming!" I yelled back.

I jump off the counter I was sitting on and made sure my hair and makeup still looked good before heading out.

I walk on to set with the rest of the cast who greet me with a smile.

(Please bear with me, I don't know how this works.)

We start our lines and from the corner of my eye I see a man with long black hair, my father.

"Wait, stop! I'll be right back." I say.

I hear people arguing and protesting but I didn't listen.

I walk of set and down the stairs to see my father.

'I'll see you soon'

Made sense now.

"Dad!" I yelled while jumping in his arms.

"Hey, princess!" He said, holding me to him.

"I missed you, i thought you were in Europe?" I questioned.

"I came back to see you for a few days." He smiled.

"How is that even gonna work?"

"We got a few days off and I wanted to see you." He told me. "Now get back to work!"

"Thank you." I whispered before going back to set, happier than ever.
