~ Ebony ~

I slowly flickered my eyes open, focusing on my ceiling light above.

I felt the sun beaming through the window, causing me to squint slightly.

Suddenly, my head began pounding me.

"O-Ow..." I moaned in pain.

"Here." I looked to see Huey sitting on the edge of my bed, holding a bottle of water and Advil.

"H-Huey?" I sat up in confusion. "What're you doing in here?"

"Take this first."

I obliged since my head is hurting like crazy.

I swallowed the pill, taking a swig of the water.

"My head hurts so much..."

"That's what happens when you get drunk." Huey said plainly.

I looked to him in confusion.

"What?"

"I expect this from Riley, Ebony. Not from you." He continued as the doumbfounded look on my face remained.

"Huey, what're you talking about?"

He quirked his eyebrow. "Do you remember anything from last night?"

Suddenly, I drew a blank.

Last night?

What happened last night?

"I remember Jacob and I were setting up at Caesar's house... And then I remember seeing some other people?"

I tried to think harder but sighed. "I don't know. I remember looking for Jacob, but that's it."

Huey shook his head as I looked at him in slight concern. "What is it? What happened?"

"You and Jacob threw a party at Caesar's house. When I got there, you were drunk."

My eyes widened.

"W-What? No, I wasn't-" "You were Ebony. The very fact that you can't remember last night comfirms it."

"N-No, I remember! I remember! Jacob invited some people and it got a little crazy, but all I had was a coke." I protested.

"Ebony." Huey looked at me, unconvinced. "Everyone saw that you were drunk. I saw, Caesar saw-"

"C-Caesar saw?" I froze before running my hands through my hair.

Oh no.

"Oh no.. " I shoved my face into my palms.

"I stayed here last night because you kept waking up in the middle of the night to puke." Huey said as I shook my head.

"No, no, no..."

I don't understand.

I didn't drink.

I wouldn't.

I made a promise to Caesar. I would never break it.

"This was irresponsible, Ebony."

I shot my head up. "N-No Huey, I didn't drink." I shook my head, but he looked at me doubtfully.

"Huey, I didn't drink. I wouldn't. You have to believe me." I pleaded with him.

I examined his face and could tell he knew I was telling truth.

Huey sighed. "Alright. Then that only means one thing."

"What?" I asked, curiously.

"Someone spiked your drink."
