I can't stop myself from shaking.

I can't stop the tears from flowing.

I just keep glancing between Jacob and Trisha, feeling my heart throbbing.

"Baby, it ain't what it look like!" Jacob pleaded as he walked over to me.

"...We was just! We was just workin' on a project!"

Trisha snickered at that. "Yeah, a 'project'. Why don't we work on it some mo', Jakey?" She walked over, touching his shoulder.

I looked over to her, feeling anger rise within me as he pushed her off. "Aye! Shut up!"

I saw her place her hands on her hips, smirking, only making me more mad.

However, the anger started to fade with sadness taking over.

"Ebbzy, just hear me out, aight?" Jacob then said, walking closer to me.

But I backed away.

"I-I-I don't... I c-can't." I shook my head, quickly running out of the house.

"Ebbzy wait!"

I ran down the sidewalk as fast as I could, hearing Jacob chase me after me.

Why?

Why did he do this to me?

Trisha.

Out of all people, Trisha.

I then tripped, falling over, and hitting my head hard on the sidewalk.

I moaned in pain as my vision became blurry. After a few seconds, it began to focus, but my head started pounding.

"O-Ow..." I groaned, attempting to stand up, but falling over again.

"Ebbzy!" Jacob caught up to me, quickly helping me up. After he did, I pushed him away.

"Ebbzy-" "Stop." I shook my head, looking to him with wet eyes.

"H-How... How could you do this to me?"

"Ebbzy, I... I-" "What? What did I do to you, J-Jacob?"

I could see the guilt written all over his face.

"I promise, I ain't meant it, aight?" "You were kissing her, Jacob! I saw!"

"I know! I know but-"

"Y-You... You cheated on me." I cried softly. It pained me to say it aloud.

"Baby, please, I-" "W-What's the excuse this time, Jake? Caesar again?"

Jacob didn't say anything as I shook my head in disbelief.

"I was just tryna-" "Stop."

"Ebbzy, he-"

"S-Stop it, Jacob!" I exclaimed, holding onto my head in pain. The throbbing only worsened.

Not being able to hold back anymore, I sobbed into my palms, feeling the overwhelming pain.

I heard Jacob sigh deeply, reaching for my hands. I shook my head, backing away again.

"...T-Trisha?" I asked, tears rolling down my cheeks. By the look on Jacob's face, I could tell he wanted to cry.

"Ebbzy... Please-"

"Every time I give you the benefit of the doubt... You let me down. E-Every time, Jake." I said sadly, taking a shuddering breath.

"I can't..." I sighed in defeat, coming to a decision.
