Y/n, Kyujin, and Eunchae walked into their math class, feeling a mixture of excitement and nervousness about their plan to reach out to Jungwon. As they looked around the room, they spotted him sitting in the back corner, his hoodie and mask still covering his face.

Y/n took a deep breath and walked over to his desk, where she called him by his name. "Jungwon, can we talk to you for a second?"

Jungwon looked up, his eyes wide with surprise and anxiety. He didn't respond, but Y/n could see the panic in his expression.

"We just wanted to check in and see how you're doing," Kyujin said gently. "We noticed that you don't talk to anyone, and we want you to know that we're here for you if you ever need to talk."

But Jungwon remained silent, his body tense and his eyes darting around the room as if he was looking for an escape.

Y/n and her friends exchanged worried glances, realizing that they had pushed too hard and made Jungwon even more uncomfortable.

"We're sorry if we made you feel uneasy," Eunchae said, her voice soft and apologetic. "We just want you to know that we care about you, and we're here to support you in any way we can."

Jungwon didn't say anything, but his shoulders seemed to relax slightly as Y/n, Kyujin, and Eunchae walked away from his desk. The three friends knew that it would take time and patience to earn Jungwon's trust, but they were determined to make him feel less alone and isolated.

~ With Jungwon ~

As Y/n, Kyujin, and Eunchae walked away from Jungwon's desk, he felt a mixture of relief and frustration. On the one hand, he was grateful that they had shown concern for him and had tried to reach out. But on the other hand, he didn't want to open up to anyone, especially not to people he barely knew.

He looked down at his notebook and began to scribble, letting his thoughts and emotions spill out onto the page. Writing had always been a way for him to process his feelings without having to share them with anyone else.

As he wrote, he began to feel a sense of calmness wash over him. The pressure he had been feeling to keep his guard up around Y/n, Kyujin, and Eunchae began to dissipate, and he allowed himself to feel just a little bit more open and vulnerable.

But he knew that he couldn't let his guard down completely. He had been hurt before, and he didn't want to risk getting hurt again.

As the class continued, Y/n, Kyujin, and Eunchae periodically glanced over at Jungwon's desk, hoping to catch his eye and signal that they were there for him. But Jungwon kept his head down, focused on his writing, determined to keep his distance for now.

It would take time for Jungwon to trust anyone, and he knew that. But for now, he was grateful for the small gesture of kindness that Y/n, Kyujin, and Eunchae had shown him.

As the last class of the day ended, Y/n packed her bag and headed towards the student council room, accompanied by Kyujin and Eunchae. Being the class president, she had to attend the meetings and discuss important matters concerning the school.

As they walked towards the student council room, Y/n couldn't help but think about Jungwon. She wondered what he was doing, whether he was still writing in his notebook or had left the school already. She felt a pang of sadness thinking about how alone he must feel.

But she knew that she couldn't force him to open up or talk to her. She had to respect his boundaries and give him space.

As they entered the student council room, Y/n greeted the other members and took her seat at the table. The meeting began, and they discussed various issues, from upcoming events to academic concerns.

Throughout the meeting, Y/n's mind kept drifting back to Jungwon. She wondered if he had any friends, whether he had any interests or hobbies. She wished she could get to know him better, but she didn't want to push him too hard.

After the meeting was over, Y/n, Kyujin, and Eunchae walked out of the student council room and headed towards the exit. As they walked, Y/n noticed Jungwon walking ahead of them, his hood and mask still covering his face.

She wondered if she should call out to him, but decided against it. She didn't want to make him feel uncomfortable or scared. Instead, she simply watched him walk away, feeling a sense of sadness and longing. She hoped that one day, he would feel comfortable enough to talk to her and let her into his world.

~ At Y/n's house ~

Y/n took off her shoes and walked into the living room where her mom was sitting on the couch watching TV. Her little brother was already asleep in his room.

"Hey, mom," Y/n greeted her.

"Hey, Y/n, how was school today?" her mom asked.

"It was fine, I had to stay a bit longer for the student council meeting," Y/n replied, sitting down next to her mom.

"How's everything going with that boy you were telling me about yesterday?" her mom asked with concern.

Y/n sighed. "It's not going very well. He's very closed off and doesn't want to talk to anyone. We found out his name is Jungwon, but he seems to get really anxious when we try to talk to him."

Her mom nodded. "Well, maybe he just needs some time to warm up to you guys. It sounds like he's going through a tough time."

Y/n nodded, feeling slightly better. "Yeah, I know. I just don't want to make things worse for him."

Her mom put a comforting hand on her shoulder. "Just keep being kind to him, Y/n. Sometimes, all it takes is a little bit of kindness to break through to someone."

Y/n smiled at her mom, feeling grateful for her words of encouragement. "Thanks, mom. I'll try my best."

Y/n sighed in frustration as she scrolled through her phone, trying to find any trace of Jungwon's social media accounts. She had hoped that she could at least see some pictures or posts from him to get a better understanding of who he was, but she had no luck.

As she put her phone down, Y/n thought about how difficult it must be for Jungwon to isolate himself from everyone, even on social media. She wondered what kind of struggles he must be facing and if there was anything she could do to help.

Feeling a renewed determination to reach out to him, Y/n grabbed a notebook and began jotting down ideas on how to approach Jungwon in a way that wouldn't overwhelm him. She knew she had to be patient and understanding, but she was determined to break through his shell and help him in any way she could.

As the night went on, Y/n found herself lost in thought, thinking about Jungwon and how she could make a difference in his life. Despite the challenges ahead, she felt a sense of hope and purpose that motivated her to keep trying.

~ The next day, Friday ~

As Y/n walked her little brother Jaehyun to the kindergarten, he kept asking questions about the boy they were talking about. "Who is this boy?" Jaehyun asked curiously. "Is he a superhero like Iron Man?" Y/n smiled at her little brother and said, "No, he's just a boy in our school who likes to keep to himself."

Kyujin and Eunchae started talking about Jungwon again, and Y/n couldn't help but feel worried about him. She wondered what he was doing at that moment and if he was okay. She knew that he needed someone to talk to, but she didn't know how to approach him without making him feel uncomfortable.

As they arrived at the kindergarten, Y/n said goodbye to her little brother and headed to school with Kyujin and Eunchae. They continued talking about Jungwon on the way, but Y/n couldn't help feeling like they were invading his privacy.

When they arrived at school, Y/n walked to her classroom and saw Jungwon sitting at his desk, as usual, with his hood and mask covering his face. She wanted to talk to him, but she didn't want to make him feel uncomfortable. She decided to wait until he was ready to open up to her.
