~ The next day ~

Y/n slowly opened her eyes to the sound of her alarm buzzing, but as she glanced down, she realized that Jungwon was still asleep on top of her. She couldn't bring herself to disturb his peaceful slumber, so she turned off her alarm and snuggled closer to him.

As she lay there, holding Jungwon close, Y/n knew that she had a tough decision to make. It was a school day, and she knew that she was expected to be there, but at the same time, she couldn't bear the thought of leaving Jungwon alone.

After a few moments of deliberation, Y/n made her decision. She was going to skip school today and spend the whole day with Jungwon. She knew that her teachers would be disappointed, but she couldn't let that get in the way of what was truly important to her.

Gently, Y/n shifted her position, carefully moving out from under Jungwon so as not to wake him up. She tiptoed out of her room, making sure not to make too much noise, and headed to the kitchen.

As she made some breakfast, Y/n couldn't help but feel excited for the day ahead. She knew that she and Jungwon were going to have a great time together, and she couldn't wait to see what adventures the day would bring.

After finishing breakfast, Y/n made her way back to her room, where Jungwon was still sound asleep. She crawled back into bed beside him, feeling his warmth seeping into her skin once again.

As she lay there, watching him sleep, Y/n knew that she had made the right decision. Today was going to be a day filled with love, laughter, and joy, and she couldn't wait to spend it with the person she cared about the most.

~ 3 hours later ~

Jungwon slowly opened his eyes, blinking away the sleep that had enveloped him. As he looked around, he realized that he was still in Y/n's room, and she was sitting beside him, texting someone on her phone.

Y/n noticed that Jungwon had woken up and put her phone away, turning her attention to him. "Good morning, sleepyhead," she said with a smile.

"Morning," Jungwon replied, stretching his arms and legs as he sat up. As he did, Y/n burst out laughing, causing Jungwon to give her a curious look.

"What's so funny?" he asked, running a hand through his messy hair.

Y/n giggled, pointing to his head. "Your hair! It's so messy," she said, still laughing.

Jungwon couldn't help but join in on the laughter, realizing that his hair was indeed a mess. He ran his fingers through it, trying to fix it, but it only made it worse.

Y/n took out a hairbrush and handed it to Jungwon, who started to brush his hair with a smile on his face. As he did, Y/n watched him, feeling her heart swell with love and affection.

After a few minutes, Jungwon finished brushing his hair and handed the brush back to Y/n. "Thanks," he said, still smiling.

Y/n grinned back at him. "Anytime," she said, putting the brush away. "So, what do you want to do today?"

Jungwon thought for a moment before replying, "Can we go to the park?"

Y/n nodded excitedly. "Sure! We can pack a picnic and spend the day there."

Jungwon's face lit up at the idea, and Y/n could tell that he was genuinely excited. She couldn't wait to spend the day with him, exploring the park and making memories that they would both cherish forever.

Y/n nodded in agreement as Jungwon finished his breakfast, and the two of them got ready to leave. They made their way to the orphanage, where Jungwon quickly changed into fresh clothes and put on a hoodie to protect himself from the chilly weather.

As they left the orphanage, Y/n noticed that Jungwon seemed much more relaxed than he had been the day before. It was like the weight of the world had been lifted from his shoulders, and Y/n was grateful that she could be there for him in his time of need.

They made their way to the park, spreading out a blanket under a shady tree. Y/n had packed sandwiches, fruit, and some snacks, and they sat down to enjoy their picnic.

As they ate, they chatted about everything and nothing. They talked about school, their dreams and aspirations, and even their favorite movies and TV shows. It was easy to see that they were becoming closer with each passing moment.

After they finished their meal, they decided to explore the park, taking in the sights and sounds around them. They walked around the lake, watching the ducks and geese swim by, and even stopped to play on the swings and slide at the playground.

As the day went on, Y/n could see that Jungwon was having the time of his life, and she couldn't help but feel happy for him. It was clear that he needed this, a break from the stress and uncertainty of his life at the orphanage.

As the sun began to set, they made their way back to Y/n's house, exhausted but happy. Y/n's parents welcomed them back with open arms, and they all sat down to enjoy a meal together.

As they ate, Y/n couldn't help but feel grateful for the amazing day that she had spent with Jungwon. She knew that they would have more challenges ahead, but she was determined to be there for him every step of the way.

As they finished their meal, Y/n's little brother Jaehyun came into the living room, bouncing with energy. "Y/n, Jungwon, come play with me!" he said excitedly.

Y/n smiled and looked over at Jungwon, who had been quiet for most of the meal. "What do you say, Jungwon? Do you want to play with Jaehyun?"

Jungwon hesitated for a moment, looking unsure. "I don't know...I'm not really good at playing with kids," he admitted.

Y/n nodded in understanding. "It's okay, you don't have to if you don't want to," she said reassuringly.

But Jaehyun wasn't going to give up that easily. "Please, Jungwon, it'll be fun! We can play video games or board games or even make some crafts!"

Jungwon looked at Jaehyun, then back at Y/n. He seemed torn, like he wanted to play, but didn't know how.

Y/n could see the uncertainty in his eyes and decided to take the lead. "Why don't we play a board game together?" she suggested, pulling out a colorful box from the shelf.

Jaehyun's eyes lit up in excitement, and he quickly grabbed the game and spread it out on the floor. Jungwon sat down with them, looking a bit apprehensive.

As they started playing, Y/n and Jaehyun took turns explaining the rules to Jungwon. At first, he struggled a bit, but soon, he was laughing and having fun just like they were.

It was like a weight had been lifted from Jungwon's shoulders, and Y/n could see him relaxing more and more as they played. He even started joking around with them and teasing Jaehyun when he won a round.

Y/n watched with a smile as her little brother and her friend bonded over the game. It was a beautiful moment, one that she would always cherish.

As the night wore on, they played several more rounds of the game, taking turns winning and losing. Eventually, they all collapsed in a heap on the floor, tired but happy.

Jungwon looked up at Y/n, a grateful expression on his face. "Thank you, Y/n. I had a really great time today."

Y/n smiled back at him, feeling a warmth spread through her chest. "Anytime, Jungwon. I'm here for you, no matter what."
