~ At Y/n's house ~

Y/n's parents and her little brother Jaehyun were sitting in the living room, chatting away when Y/n and Jungwon walked in. They all turned to look at them, and Y/n's parents immediately noticed the somber look on Jungwon's face.

"Is everything okay, Jungwon?" Y/n's mother asked, concern etched on her face.

Jungwon nodded but couldn't find the words to express what he was feeling. Y/n stepped in, explaining the situation to her parents.

"Jungwon's had a tough week. He's been feeling really overwhelmed with the thought of leaving the orphanage in a couple of years," Y/n said, her voice gentle.

Y/n's parents immediately understood, and her mother got up to give Jungwon a warm hug. "You're always welcome here, Jungwon. Don't hesitate to talk to us if you need anything," she said, her voice filled with kindness.

Jungwon smiled gratefully, feeling a sense of comfort in their words. Even though he had been to Y/n's house before, today, he felt more vulnerable and emotional than ever before.

Y/n then grabbed some snacks from the kitchen and led Jungwon to her room, where they could talk in private. As they sat down on her bed, Y/n opened up a bag of chips and handed them to Jungwon, hoping to lighten the mood.

"You know, Jungwon, even though you'll be leaving the orphanage in a couple of years, that doesn't mean you have to leave behind the memories you've made there," Y/n said, her voice soft and reassuring.

Jungwon looked up at her, taking in her words. "What do you mean?" he asked, curious.

"I mean that those memories will always be a part of you, no matter where you go. And even if you leave the orphanage, you can still visit and stay in touch with the people you've met there," Y/n explained, her eyes shining with empathy.

Jungwon felt a sense of relief wash over him at her words. He had never thought of it that way before, but she was right. He could still hold onto the memories and people he had met at the orphanage, even if he had to physically leave it behind.

"Thank you, Y/n. You always know what to say," Jungwon said, his voice filled with gratitude.

Y/n smiled at him, feeling a sense of satisfaction in knowing that she could be there for him in his time of need. She would always do whatever it took to make sure that Jungwon felt loved and supported, no matter what.

As Y/n and Jungwon sat on her bed, munching on their snacks and talking, her little brother Jaehyun walked into the room, a big smile on his face. He loved spending time with Y/n and her friends, and he was always eager to join in on their conversations.

"Hey, guys! What are you doing?" Jaehyun asked, his eyes sparkling with curiosity.

Y/n turned to look at him, a warm smile on her face. "Just hanging out, Jae. What about you?"

"I was thinking we could play some video games together," Jaehyun said, holding up his controller.

Y/n's smile faltered slightly as she looked over at Jungwon, who seemed lost in his thoughts. She knew that he needed some space and rest tonight, and she didn't want to overwhelm him with too much activity.

"Actually, Jae, I think Jungwon needs some rest tonight. He's had a tough week, and I think he just needs some quiet time," Y/n said, her voice gentle.

Jaehyun looked over at Jungwon and then back at Y/n, a disappointed look on his face. "Oh, okay. Maybe we can play tomorrow?" he asked, hopeful.

"Definitely, Jae. We'll play tomorrow, I promise," Y/n said, ruffling his hair affectionately.

Jaehyun nodded and then turned to leave the room. As he walked out, Y/n turned back to Jungwon, who looked grateful for the space.

"I'm sorry, Jungwon. I know Jaehyun can be a bit overwhelming sometimes," Y/n said, her voice apologetic.

Jungwon shook his head, a small smile playing on his lips. "It's okay, Y/n. I appreciate you looking out for me," he said, his voice soft.

Y/n smiled back at him, feeling a sense of contentment in knowing that she could be there for him in his time of need. She knew that he was going through a difficult time, but she would always be there to support him, no matter what.

As Y/n continued to talk to Jungwon, she noticed that he had pulled his hood over his head, almost as if he was trying to hide himself away from the world. She could see that he was still lost in his thoughts, and she knew that he needed something to distract him.

Without thinking, Y/n reached over and gently pulled down his hood, exposing his soft hair to the warm glow of her bedroom light. She couldn't help but smile at the sight of him, looking vulnerable and lost, yet still so beautiful.

"Your hair is so soft," Y/n said, running her fingers through his locks.

Jungwon looked up at her, a small smile playing on his lips. "Thanks," he said, his voice barely above a whisper.

Y/n continued to play with his hair, feeling a sense of calm wash over her. There was something about being with Jungwon that made her feel safe and secure, like she could take on the world with him by her side.

As they sat there, enjoying each other's company, Y/n knew that she had made the right decision in bringing Jungwon to her house. She could see that he was starting to relax and that he was slowly starting to open up to her again.

"Thank you for being here for me, Y/n," Jungwon said, his voice filled with gratitude.

Y/n smiled back at him, feeling a sense of warmth spread throughout her body. "Anytime, Jungwon. I'll always be here for you," she said, her voice soft and reassuring.

And with that, they settled back into their comfortable silence, content in each other's company.

As Y/n and Jungwon sat in silence, enjoying each other's company, Y/n noticed that Jungwon's eyes were starting to droop. She could see that he was exhausted, both physically and emotionally, and she knew that he needed to rest.

Before she could say anything, however, Jungwon's head fell forward, landing softly on Y/n's shoulder. Y/n looked down at him, a gentle smile on her lips as she brushed a strand of hair away from his face.

She could feel his breaths coming out in slow, steady rhythms, and she knew that he had fallen asleep. Y/n looked down at him, feeling a sense of protectiveness wash over her. She knew that Jungwon was going through a tough time, and she wanted nothing more than to be there for him.

Carefully, Y/n shifted her position, making sure not to disturb Jungwon's sleep. She leaned back against the headboard, feeling Jungwon's head still resting on her shoulder. She could feel his warmth seeping into her skin, and she knew that she was exactly where she was supposed to be.

As she sat there, holding Jungwon close, Y/n couldn't help but feel grateful for the moment. She knew that life was unpredictable and that things could change in an instant. But for now, she was content to just sit here, holding Jungwon in her arms and basking in the warmth of his love.

As a couple of minutes passed, Y/n could feel the weight of Jungwon's head becoming heavier on her shoulder, and she knew that she needed to lay him down. Carefully, she shifted her position, making sure not to wake him up as she slowly lowered him onto the bed.

Once Jungwon was lying down, Y/n covered him with a blanket, tucking it around him snugly. She could see the tension in his body slowly start to ease, and she knew that he was finally getting the rest that he deserved.

As Y/n lay down next to Jungwon, she could feel his body snuggling closer to hers. She wrapped her arm around him, feeling the warmth of his body against hers. She could feel his breaths becoming slower and deeper, and she knew that he was asleep.

Closing her eyes, Y/n let out a deep breath, feeling a sense of contentment wash over her. She knew that the road ahead was going to be tough, but for now, she was grateful for this moment of peace and tranquility.

As she drifted off to sleep, Y/n knew that no matter what challenges lay ahead, she would always be there for Jungwon. She would be his rock, his anchor, and his safe haven in a world that could be so unpredictable and chaotic.

For now, she was content to just lie here, holding Jungwon in her arms, and feeling the warmth of his love surround her.
