Y/n couldn't hold back her feelings and needed to talk to someone about what Jungwon had told her. She met up with Kyujin and Eunchae in the park and sat down with them on a bench.

"Guys, I have something to tell you," she said, her voice low and serious.

"What's up?" Eunchae asked, concern etched on her face.

Y/n took a deep breath before speaking. "Jungwon told me today that his family died in a car accident when he was little, and he's been living in an orphanage ever since. That's why he's so closed off and distant."

Kyujin and Eunchae's expressions softened as they listened to Y/n's words. "Wow," Kyujin said quietly. "That's really tough."

"I can't even imagine what that must have been like for him," Eunchae added.

Y/n nodded in agreement. "I just want to help him, you know? He's been through so much, and he shouldn't have to go through it alone."

"Of course, we'll help you," Kyujin said, putting a comforting arm around Y/n's shoulders. "We'll be there for him too."

Y/n smiled gratefully. "Thanks, guys. I really appreciate it."

They chatted for a little while longer before saying their goodbyes and heading home. Y/n felt a little better now that she had shared her worries with her friends. She was determined to be there for Jungwon, no matter what.

~ At Y/n's house ~

Y/n walked inside her house, feeling a little uneasy. She knew she had to talk to her mom about something important, but she wasn't sure how to bring it up. She found her mom in the living room, sitting on the couch and watching TV.

"Mom, can we talk for a minute?" Y/n said, sitting down next to her.

"Sure, what's on your mind?" her mom replied, turning off the TV.

Y/n took a deep breath. "It's about Jungwon," she began. "He's been through a lot. His family died in a car accident when he was little, and he's been living in an orphanage ever since."

Her mom looked at her with concern. "Oh my, that's terrible. How did you find out?"

"He told me today. He's been really closed off because of it. I just wanted to talk to you about it. Maybe see if there's anything we can do to help."

Her mom thought for a moment. "Well, we could always invite him over for dinner sometime. Or maybe we could all go out somewhere, just to show him that he's not alone."

Y/n smiled. "That's a great idea. Thank you, Mom."

"Of course, sweetie. We'll figure something out. Just remember to be there for him and let him know that he has people who care about him."

Y/n smiled at Jaehyun and ruffled his hair gently. "Of course, little bro," she said. "What game do you want to play?"

Jaehyun's eyes lit up and he clapped his hands excitedly. "Let's play hide and seek!" he exclaimed.

Y/n chuckled. "Alright, but you know the rules, right? No hiding in dangerous places or going too far away."

Jaehyun nodded eagerly. "I know, I know. I'll hide somewhere safe and easy."

"Okay then," Y/n said, grinning. "You go hide and I'll start counting."

Jaehyun ran off, giggling, and Y/n started counting slowly. As she counted, she couldn't help but think about Jungwon and what he had told her earlier. She wondered if there was anything she could do to help him or make him feel better.

But for now, she pushed those thoughts aside and focused on the game at hand. Once she finished counting, she began to search for Jaehyun, checking all the usual hiding spots. But after a few minutes of searching, she couldn't find him.

"Jaehyun, where are you?" she called out, starting to worry.

But there was no response. Y/n's heart began to race as she searched harder and harder. She checked under the table, behind the curtains, and even in the closet, but there was no sign of Jaehyun.

Just as she was about to give up, she heard a muffled giggle from behind the couch. She hurried over and found Jaehyun crouched behind it, trying to suppress his laughter.

Y/n let out a sigh of relief and pulled him out from behind the couch. "You really got me there, little bro," she said, grinning.

Jaehyun beamed up at her. "I told you it was a good hiding spot!"

Y/n chuckled and tousled his hair again. "You're right, you're right. Now, do you want to play another round?"

Jaehyun nodded eagerly, and the two of them continued to play, laughing and having fun together. But in the back of Y/n's mind, she couldn't shake off the feeling that there was something more she needed to do for Jungwon.

~ Time skip, the next day ~

As Y/n walked up to Jungwon, he seemed to be lost in his own thoughts, so she quietly walked alongside him, respecting his space. After a few minutes of walking in silence, Y/n decided to break the ice.

"Jungwon, I wanted to ask you something," Y/n began hesitantly. Jungwon looked up at her, his eyes still guarded behind the mask.

"Sure, what is it?" he asked softly.

Y/n took a deep breath before speaking. "I was wondering if you would like to come over to my house this weekend. My mom said it would be okay if you wanted to."

Jungwon looked at her in surprise, his eyes widening behind the mask. "Really? You want me to come over?"

Y/n nodded. "Yeah, I thought it might be nice. We can hang out and watch a movie or something."

Jungwon's expression softened, and Y/n could see a hint of a smile behind his mask. "Okay, that sounds good," he said.

Y/n felt a sense of relief wash over her. She was glad that Jungwon had accepted her invitation, and she hoped that this would be an opportunity for him to open up a little more.

As they arrived at school, Y/n walked with Jungwon to their classroom, feeling a newfound sense of closeness with him. She couldn't wait to spend more time with him this weekend and get to know him better.

Y/n couldn't help but feel grateful for having Jungwon by her side. Even though he was quiet, his presence was comforting. She smiled at him every now and then, and he would look up from his notebook and give her a small nod in response.

During lunch break, Y/n suggested they go outside and eat their lunch under a big tree in the schoolyard. They sat down on the grass, and Jungwon pulled out his lunchbox. Y/n had brought a sandwich and an apple. They ate in silence, enjoying the warm sun and the gentle breeze.

After lunch, they walked to their next class together. Y/n could feel Jungwon's eyes on her, but when she looked over, he quickly averted his gaze. She wondered if he was okay.

When the bell rang, Y/n walked out of the classroom with Jungwon. She asked him if he wanted to hang out after school, but he shook his head. She didn't want to push him, so she simply smiled and said, "Okay, maybe another time."

As they walked to the orphanage, Y/n couldn't help but feel a little disappointed. She wished she could spend more time with Jungwon and get to know him better. But she understood that he needed his space.

When they arrived at the orphanage, Y/n hugged Jungwon and said goodbye. He hugged her back, and for a moment, Y/n felt like everything would be okay. She watched him walk inside, and then she turned around and headed home.

On the way, she stopped by a flower shop and bought a small bouquet of daisies. She had an idea. She walked inside her house, placed the flowers in a vase, and sat down at her desk. She grabbed a piece of paper and started writing.

Dear Jungwon,

I know you're going through a tough time, and I want you to know that I'm here for you. You don't have to talk if you don't want to. Just know that I care about you, and I'm grateful for your friendship.

Y/n

She folded the paper, placed it in an envelope, and wrote Jungwon's name on it. She decided to slip it into his locker tomorrow morning. She hoped it would brighten his day.
