Chapter 13 - The Shamen's Warning

NARRATOR: we are back with Chris and Brian as they discover a bug infested Swap Village and move to another area to look for water and clues about this place...

CHRISTOPHER CERVANTES: *swipes at the bugs in the air as he's walking* there's bugs fucking everywhere Brian... *sees the sun setting with a red ominous sky* That ain't good Brian we are loosing our light before things could turn for the worse...

BRIAN ELLIS: I'm with you there... we still need to find drinking water because I'm fucking parched *walks and sees smoke further up ahead* Hey Chris... you see smoke there?

CHRISTOPHER CERVANTES: When there's smoke there's fire and when there's fire... there's people...

BRIAN ELLIS: Exactly looks like we could maybe find someone that could help us or maybe even tell us about this abandoned village... gives me the creeps.

CHRISTOPHER CERVANTES: I'm almost out of ammo... I'll have to start using my knife if things get ugly

BRIAN ELLIS: Don't worry I got you buddy. takes two extra clips out of 16 rounds* I got four more in my pack so we should be okay for another ambush after that yeah we are going to need our knives for sure. 

CHRISTOPHER CERVANTES: I got about 48 rounds now or about 3 clips I can breathe a little now haha...

NARRATOR: The Two BestFriends move on and notice a few specters here and there and shoot them when necessary but as they travel further through the village they hear banging noises like sounds from a gun... gunshots even. 

BRIAN ELLIS: do you think that could be Rukia? Or back up? Or my missing members Jaden and Alex?

CHRISTOPHER CERVANTES: at this point I hope it's more fresh faces or familiar faces... *sees the smoking shack up ahead* Hey look it's the shack with smoke coming out it's right ahead of us!

BRIAN ELLIS: hopefully they aren't hostile or specters themselves..

CHRISTOPHER CERVANTES: Yeah I hope so too I'm tired of those fuckers creep me out with their red glowing eyes....

NARRATOR: They now make it to a shack with smoke coming from a fire outside the shack and see a mysterious man who looks familiar to Chris

???: Como estas Primo... who would've thought I'd see you here...

CHRISTOPHER CERVANTES: Jesse? W-What are you doing out here?

JESSE: I Come to this village when I train to do medicine. plus I guess you Already know about the Himuras Right? turns out cuz we are more connected to them then you think...

BRIAN ELLIS: Chris What does your cousin Jesse mean by this?

CHRISTOPHER CERVANTES: I don't know Brian... I'm as shocked as you are...

JESSE: I took lessons on becoming a shaman and
Learning medicine here. Yes the black ghosts here are very interesting and I think I discovered something about them there's a certain plant out here that seems to make them less aggressive around certain areas.

CHRISTOPHER CERVANTES: But what about what you said you know... that we are more connected then you think with the Himuras?

JESSE: My Dad or your Tio Carlos Worked Alongside Mr. Hirohito Himura in his Research, and your Grandma... well she was a occupational therapist helping the kids that were getting tested on stay sane whenever side effects were kicking in, causing them to not function normally after taking these serums from Himura Industries. She even helped the Devil herself Akane Himura.

CHRISTOPHER CERVANTES: how do I know that this isn't a lie primo... is there any proof?

NARRATOR: Jesse Goes to the back of his shack towards a chest filled with old Files and yellowed photographs and points to a young Grandmother of Christopher Cervantes. Chris starts to realize that this case is now personal and starts to sit staring at the photo in awe and is stunned at the matter.

CHRISTOPHER CERVANTES: I don't understand... I'm somehow connected to Akane? Brian do you know what this means?

BRIAN ELLIS: That this Missing Case turned into a whole new case itself... but your cousin told other members to stay away from the research facility...

JESSE: Your friend is right Chris I don't want anyone getting hurt especially by the Demon Hersel-

NARRATOR: A woosh in the sky and the sound of wings flapping surround the Himura village and that happens Chris starts to feel faint and starts seeing things...

BRIAN ELLIS: Chris Are you okay?

JESSE: Woah Cuz stand up...

CHRISTOPHER CERVANTES: I see something... I hear Screaming... I see a Backyard... I See my Grandma? I see Blood I see Syringes I see A Young Woman I See Rukia I- I-

BRIAN ELLIS: CHRIS! SNAP OUT OF IT! *shakes him*

CHRISTOPHER CERVANTES: W-what happened *rubs head* I think I just had seen someone's else's memories.... Or a Vision... My grandma was in one of them... did you guys see what was in the sky? It started happening when it was near me.... Was that Akane? But she had someone else with her... unconscious...

JESSE: Chris how did you see all that?

CHRISTOPHER CERVANTES: I don't know cuz... I'm scared but I gotta keep going *moves upper arm and winces*

JESSE: Before you go let me help patch up that arm better... *takes off the bloodied bandage and sees the cut as it slowly bleeds but not a detrimental bleed* you'll be fine cuz I got you don't worry *takes out a cream and rubs it on the cut and then rewraps the injury with a whole new bandages feeling snug and tight to have the right amount of pressure to control and even stop the bleeding* How's that feel cuz?

CHRISTOPHER CERVANTES: it doesn't hurt and it feels better but how did you?

JESSE: I'm going to stop you right there, oh also before you go. *tosses them their water canisters with clean cold drinking water* I heard your friend needed some water so I made sure you and your friend had water available... Now cuz listen to me clearly this is very important... be careful about going forward towards the abandoned research center. There is more evil there then out here so prepare yourselves, if I see anyone else come around here, I'll let them know you were here... and find your other coworkers they were both here not too long ago... about 20 minutes. While you're out... These specters you call them are more aggressive at night. They won't look like their usual selves during the day... so be careful and good luck...

BRIAN ELLIS: Thanks man... this was just a huge help *drinks his water*

CHRISTOPHER CERVANTES: If I need help I know who to contact it'll be you cuz... be careful here...

JESSE: Don't worry I'll be okay just be safe and find your friends.

CHRISTOPHER CERVANTES: You got it cuz I won't let you or my coworkers down... I'll find Akane and solve this problem and Hopefully Save this Girl that's unconscious.

NARRATOR: The Two Exit out of the Shack and wave goodbye too Jesse The Shaman but will Chris and Brian find out the mystery between the Link of Chris and Akane? we will find out soon... and will Chris save This Mysterious Unconscious Girl? as they head deeper into the village as the atmosphere darkens, as the sun is dropping and time is running out... only time will tell for all our heroes...
