Chapter 18 - Regrouping

NARRATOR: We go back to Brian Ellis who is escaping from the horde of Specters only to realize that his radio picks up a transmitter from Rukia Akiyama.

RUKIA AKIYAMA (On Radio): Any Fellow L.I.P.D. members? This is Rukia Checking in!

BRIAN ELLIS: I read you loud and clear Rukia Chris is unfortunately Considered MIA at the moment.

RUKIA AKIYAMA (On Radio): Copy that Captain. Your Transmitter shows you're close, hang tight we are on our way! We will regroup with you soon I have Ichigo here with me.

BRIAN ELLIS: Copy That Rookie I will see you and Ichigo Soon Watch your 6 it's dangerous out here.

RUKIA AKIYAMA (On Radio): Don't worry about us Captain we will be there! Akiyama Out.

BRIAN ELLIS: At least I won't be alone soon I'm just about out of rounds escaping from those specters chasing me.

NARRATOR: Brian Makes his way out of the deeper part of Himura Village and Notices Two bright lights coming from The Swampy Village and it's the Big Rig From The L.I.P.D command center.

RUKIA AKIYAMA: *shuts off the Rig and opens the Door* Captain! *runs over and hugs him* we thought we lost you and Chris for good but Chris's Cousin Jesse gave us hope...

ICHIGO HOPE: Yeah We met him along the way gave us some info about you guys and lead us here, very helpful guy.

BRIAN ELLIS: Thanks you two it's just nice to see some Allies again Poor Chris Sacrificed himself to buy me some time to get out of a horde of specters only to distract them not fully kill them.

RUKIA AKIYAMA: I see... that sounds just like him... the last time you saw him was at the Abandoned Research Facility?

BRIAN ELLIS: That's correct Rukia he was Last there fighting alongside with me but we both were overwhelmed and he threw a flash grenade and had to jump in the research facility which in case is under lockdown by now...

RUKIA AKIYAMA: My sister is in there and so are the other L.I.P.D Officers Jaden and Alex... do you think they're all still alive? *worried*

BRIAN ELLIS: I'm not sure but all I know is Chris will make it work we already been fighting worse in the past but Akane is a whole different story. Chris kept having these visions and was twitching and spacing out poor guy honestly.

ICHIGO HOPE: The Research Facility is under lockdown How is that?

BRIAN ELLIS: *hands her some binoculars* take a look there *points to the Research Facility with lights on this time* those lights weren't on before shows an emergency power system lighting up that old place crazy right? And when there's light...

RUKIA AKIYAMA: there's life... Chris is still Alive thank goodness... so what shall we do?

BRIAN ELLIS: Well the place is in lockdown we are going to need some heavy machinery to knock that entrance door down. The rig unfortunately won't be able to go through no matter how hard and fast we try but if we can get it we would need our special weapon it'll do the trick for sure but it's back at the L.I.P.D. Command Center which I'm guessing you guys just came from...

ICHIGO HOPE: Yeah we just got from there to try and Save Chris you and Hinata.... Maybe we can regroup with you Xavier and the others and think of a plan... since you'll be there and the other Captain McKenna Brown would be coming back as well.

RUKIA AKIYAMA: As much as I hate to say it Ichi is right we need to come back to the Center and think of a well thought-out plan, because that Research Facility's doors aren't going to open anytime soon without our secret weapon no matter how hard we try.
