POTION'S CLASSROOM-EVENING

EVELYN'S POV

I quickly hopped off the desk and hid behind Severus. Severus looked straight at Lupin and placed one of his hands around to me.

"What in merlin is going on here?!" I heard Remus yell. I heard the door slam and he walked closer to us.

"What are you doing to her? Evelyn." He moved closer to us. Severus immediately moved forward, blocking him from getting closer to me.

"Severus..What are you doing to her?" Lupin asked, concerned.

"I am doing nothing to her." Severus said, sternly.

"Show me. Show me that Evelyn is ok." Lupin said quietly.

Severus moved out of the way slowly and walked close to his dorm door. Lupin quickly walked over to me and pulled me behind him. He took out his wand and pointed it at Severus. Severus looked confused and shocked but quickly pulled out his wand.

"Is he forcing you to do anything?" Lupin asked me.

"What? No.." I pushed him away. I walked closer to Severus and stood in front of him.

"He would never EVER force me to do anything. Put the wand down, Remus. We can talk." I said sternly.

Both Severus and Remus looked at each other, looking like they were going to kill each other. Remus finally looked at me and nodded. Lupin put his wand in his pocket and moved back a bit.

"We should talk in here." Severus said, pointing at his dorm.

Lupin and I nodded and walked inside. Severus closed the door behind him and we sat on his couch. Remus seemed nervous and started bouncing his leg a lot. I moved closer to him and placed my hand on his. Severus brought cups of tea and placed them on the table. Severus sat on my right and Lupin on my left. I was in between both of them.

"So this is what we will do, Remus, you'll ask whatever you want and we will answer your question with an honest answer. The truth and the truth only." Severus said, his words full of regret.

"Alright.." Lupin replied.

"How would you guys label yourselves right now?" Lupin asked.

I looked at Severus and he looked down at me. He gave me a slow nod.

"I guess..you could say we're dating.." I responded, shaky.

Remus sat back and rubbed his face.

"Is he forcing you to do anything? And tell me the truth."

"He is not forcing me to do anything. I am here because I chose too. I decided to be here with Severus." I answered looking down. I felt Severus place his hand around my waist to my other side.

Remus looked at his hand and at me.

"Well I just wanted to know if you were being forced. So you really like Severus. Like.." Lupin asked.

"No, I don't only like him..I love him," I placed my hand on his knee and scooted back against him.

"He's an amazing man. I love him, Remus. I'm sorry if you don't want me to be even close to him bu-"

"No it's just that I never thought either you or Severus would fall in love with each other. I thought Severus would be stuck with the thought of Lily and I thought you would never like an older man like him," He said.

"I want you guys to be happy. So if you guys are happy with each other then I will do nothing about it."

Severus smiled.

"Thank you Remus. I appreciate it and hope you will not say anything."

"I would never Severus. Just please take care of Evelyn."

Severus hugged me and I looked at Remus.

"You know, the first day I saw you on the train..you attracted me. Not like that. Something about you just caught my attention. I thought you were quiet and smart. After getting to know you I saw you as a daughter. Now I'm just a bit worried..I guess.."

Well I feel stupid for ever thinking he was into me like that. I still remember when he was being protective that I asked him if he was being over protective or if he was into me andd.....now I felt stupid and embarrassed.

Lupin looked down and Severus patted his shoulder.

"Thanks Remus and I trust you won't say a word about this to anyone." He gripped my waist harder.

I laid more back into Severus's stomach and snuggled there. Remus smiled and drank his tea.

"Do you guys plan on being together after Evelyn graduates from school?" Lupin asked.

"Yes, definitely. I can't imagine a life without her in it." Severus said, moving his face closer to my ear.

"Of course. I wish to spend my life with Severus forever." I said, looking up into his eyes.

"Such lovebirds you guys are. Stop. I'm still single." Remus said, smiling.

Severus and I chuckled as he took a sip of his tea.

"So, can I call you dad?" I asked, messing around.

"I'm sure that's going to sound weird around other people." Remus responded, unsure.

"But you can call me daddy." Severus jumped in, whispering loudly.

"Severus!!" I gave him a playful push.

He chuckled as I was flushed. I buried my face in my hands and sat closer to Remus. Remus seemed to be a bit surprised by Severus's statements but chuckled.

"I have never seen this side of you, Severus. I don't mean it in a mean way. It's nice to see you happy and finally love someone." Remus placed his arm on my shoulder.

"I am very happy and grateful Evelyn came into my life. Without her here, I would have never been happy. I have never felt more alive than now. I feel free. I feel like I finally have a reason to keep living." Severus looked at me and held my hand in his.

"I don't want to ruin the moment or anything but isn't Evelyn underage?" Remus asked.

"She is 16 and I guess some people might think she isn't an adult until 18 so I am not going to expose our relationship to anyone but us until she stops attending Hogwarts." Severus responded.

"Yea that would be the best idea.."

We all smiled and continued drinking our tea.

We talked about many more things for the rest of the night until Remus had to go.

"So last question." Remus started.

"Have you guys slept together....."

"Like..like sex.." I asked, flushed.

"Yea..that and literally sleeping here with him.." Remus finished.

"Yea.." I answered, unsure.

"Yes we have had sex BUT have decided not anymore, not until we're ready for children. I want her to finish her education. She has slept here in my dorm but it's risky." Severus helped me.

Remus looked a bit shocked and then nodded his head.

"Well..I guess..I'll be going now."

We all stood up and walked him to the door.

"Why were you here in the first place?" I asked, remembering.

"Ohhhhhh. I was here for a potion, Severus, but I'll come another time." Remus looked at Severus and gave him a small nod. Severus had a moment of realisation and nodded. Remus proceeded to leave the class. Severus and I walked back to the kitchen to wash the dishes.
